OMG! They are soooo beautiful. I love the fact that it has pockets for the directions, rsvp card, reception etc. They are very elegant and quite distinct. They definetly will make an impression.
They are worth it. Go for it!!!!!
PS/ I recently got an invitation for a wedding,. They are spending over 30k on the wedding but they chose a DYI invite kit to save money. The invitations look bad, the ribbon was not glued properly, some of the pieces are not aligned... It's so worth to spend a few extra bucks than give the wrong impression.
Good luck

Style wise they are pretty but I would personally go with something that had the same feel but simpler. Invitations get sent out way before the wedding and the only people who really save them are the bride/groom and possibly a scrapbook crazy aunt or two. Otherwise they end up in a drawer or trashed so its not worth it getting fancy invites when I can spend it on something for the actual wedding that will get more notice.
For me I figure how long is anybody but me going to look at it and budget accordingly. Like I skipped pew bows because they don't show up in pics and other than the first few people into the church I'm the only one who will notice them. I took that money and threw it into better flowers that will make a bigger impact for a longer period of time.

My personal opinion? It's just gorgeous!!
However, two things to consider: Number one, the cost of the invite itself - like your "additional details" - I hate to spend money on something that's going to go into the trash. =)
Number two: How much does each invite weigh, and consider the size. How much extra postage is going to be required? Instead of the .41 to mail and the .41 for the RSVP card (which is .82 just to mail them!), at 5" and some change X 7" and some change, you could be at an odd size, and if the folder's heavy (which it looks!) you could be spending easily over $1.00 per invite in postage alone because they're either too big or too heavy.
Also, it says envelopes are not included? I'm assuming this is printing your return address on the envelopes (Trust me on this - it's a HUGE time saver and worth the effort!) How much extra will that cost?! Your invitations could end up costing you over $20 a piece!!
If you're only sending out 25 invites, it's probably not going to be a big deal, but if you're sending out over 100 - it's going to add up pretty quickly - Just something else to consider. I hate to be a killjoy, because they ARE just gorgeous, but if you can save a couple hundred bucks here and there - that's some extra cash for your honeymoon! =)
Best wishes to you!

Personally, I am the kind of person who saves stuff like invitations to weddings. Especially if they're super cute or creative. I have a bulletin board behind my kitchen door that holds wedding invitations and postcards and stuff like that. I think they're adorable and I like that you can personalize them any way you want to fit your needs. Plus, you don't have to try and stuff all the cards and inserts in the envelope just so to get them to fit. It all stays inside the little folder. Very convenient. Also, I've noticed that its really hard to find invitations that are so personalizable. Its nice that no matter what your colors or theme or what inserts and extra cards you need, you'd be able to use this invitation. Very few styles are so versatile. I think you should get them. Maybe since they're so unique, more people will save them as keepsakes. I know I would.

I think it is beautiful! Very unique. I have never seen this before.
I'm the same way - usually don't spend much on stuff like this, but for my wedding I spent a lot more on invitations to get exactly what I want! Maybe other people don't keep them around, but I assure you that they notice! Haven't you ever got an invitation in the mail and thought "YUCK!" Don't let this be you :) If you can afford it, go for it.

It's really a matter of choice. I think they are lovely...classic & simple elegance. That being said, I've seen simpler invites just as beautiful. If you want them and you can swing the extra cost...get them. I don't believe in going bankrupt for a wedding, but I also think you should have what you want within reason.
Best of luck with the marriage!

It's worth it if it's affordable and if they're special to you (I think they're georgeous, BTW). But, don't spend the extra money if you're doing it because you think your guests will be impressed. Nobody remembers details like the invitation much after they get it. It might have an immediate "wow" effect, but that fades quickly. But, if it fits into your vision for you day and you have the bucks, then enjoy them!

My husband's cousin had the exact invitations for her wedding last September. Her colors were pink and brown too. They were beautiful, but alas it did eventually get thrown away. If you can afford it, go for it. Sometimes you gotta splurge on something you love! Best wishes!

I like them. Friends of mine sent out similar invites. Very classy, very elegant. I'm assuming your wedding is not during the day or just cocktails-I think simpler invites would be better for them. Otherwise I say go for it! They look great!
