So I am going to stay with my boyfriend for the summer and I am leaving my house when no one is there and just go. He doesn't live far from my parents house and I am a little nervous but I know it's the right thing to do! I just don't want to hurt anyone! Am I making a wrong move?

That's OK. You don't have to spend the rest of your summer alone if you don't want to. But what's the situation with your family? Do you get along with them, or do they know where to contact you?

You already know its the wrong thing to do otherwise you would be telling your folks. This kind of lie of omission is what breaks the trust between parent and child, and once broken its hard to get it back.

Ask your folks, give a good argument why its a good thing or why they can trust you and then live with the outcome. In just a few years, when you are not dependent, you can come and go as you please and your parents will never know or care.

Um... ok first of all how old are you? and How old is he?

He could get arrested, if you leave and don't tell anybody that's running away, and your parents will be worried sick about you.

Don't do that, you and your boyfriend can hang out without living together - trust me my dear this won't end the way you hope it will, and don't be in such a hurry to be living with a guy - there will be plenty of time for that sort of thing later in life.

Your parents will find you...especially since you said you live so close.

This will put a huge rift between your boyfriend and your parents and you definitely don't want that...that causes so much drama.

I would suggest not doing it, if you need to get away, then stay with your friends. Boys will always be there...parents will not.

As long as your parents are part of this arrangement you have nothing to worry about but if you are sneaking behind them to go and camp with your boyfriend for the summer, I'll think it would be the biggest mistake of your life.
