If Planned Parenthood (America's largest abortion provider) will take some of the 900 million dollars in profits they made last year (a ton of money for a non-profit agency,no?) and donate that to pay for the fees associated with adoption for all of the kids awaiting adoption, I will take them all. What do you think? Any other takers?

You can read the annual report online:
No big secret.
Planned Parenthood performs the most abortions in the US. Hence, their title.
And as far as the "idiot" comment, I think we can all see who the idiot is. Nice answer though. Take long to think of it? I bet it did.

And, for the record, I have been in Planned Parenthood. I know exactly what they do there. Nice try, though.

Thinking of Planned Parenthood only as "America's largest abortion provider" (btw - do you have sources for that claim as well as the financials you provide?) ignores the wide span of services planned parenthood provides including:
Annual gynecological exams, including Pap tests and basic lab tests
Birth control/contraceptives
Sexually transmitted infection testing and treatment
Counseling and testing for the HIV/AIDS virus
Pregnancy testing and counseling (blood & urine)
Urinary Tract Infections and Incontinence
Men's health services
Vasectomy
Gardasil HPV Vaccine
Prenatal Care
Emergency contraception
Colposcopy
Midlife Services
Clinical Research
and....
Adoption referrals.

Sounds like an excellent idea to me. Being adopted myself, I have no objection to adoption and think it is a wonderful choice. I just wish more women would take it into consideration when they realize they are pregnant. If more women who didn't want to keep their babies would offer them up for adoption, maybe that would get the money flowing in the proper direction. Something to think about...

Please link to the financial report that shows this profit.
I am sure that the government would like to know about this too, so that they can remove the tax-exempt status from this charity.
Or are you just pulling these numbers off some anti-abortion web site?
Why don't you just ask God for this money? Ask and He will provide.

Planned Parenthood spends a good chunk of money on adoption services. For example:
http://www.plannedparenthood.org/greater-iowa/adoption-services.htm
http://www.plannedparenthood.org/chicago/adoption.htm
http://www.plannedparenthoodalta.com/education/adoption_opt.htm
As a matter of fact, only 3% of their total budget goes to abortion services. That's only $265,000 nationally.

Maybe if each one of us settled for a not so nice place to live, no dinners out, no big vacations, no fancy cars, no Internet, no cell phones, no cable or satellite. . .if we each decided to live a meek life and give all we possibly could . . . .hmm. . .wonder how much money that would provide.

They will never do it, you are safe..
It is very very expensive to adopt.. They don't make it easy..
Much easier to kill the babies, and cheaper than adoption.
