my husband will try to save time by brushing his teeth in the shower when he showers in the morning. I find it kind of odd lol.

Ydoncha_v.11.0, you've probably never seen that mythbusters episode where they were testing that. Feces particles get on your toothbrush no matter where it is. The control brushes that were kept in the kitchen had feces particles on them.

I do.that a lot. I apparently drool when I brush, so just doing it in the shower makes it less messy. That isn't why I started, though... I started when I lived in a dorm with communal bathrooms and it was more efficient to do everything at once. Imagine brushing your teeth in the average public restroom sink, anyhow...

My husband shaves in the shower without a mirror and it comes out perfect. He says he knows his face. He also brushes his teeth in the shower. He has done this for many years. It saves on having to clean up the sink after him. Look at it that way.

Both me and my fiancee brush our teeth in the shower. Ive got news for you - it is way more sterile of an environment than your bathroon sink - studies have proven that there are actually airborne feces germs that reside on toothbrushes that are left on sink tops....

I also shave in the shower - the warm water actually softens the beard making shaving easier and less painful/irritating.

Not so odd now, eh?

Actually, i do keep the toothbrush holder with toothpaste and toothbrushes in the shower and brush my teeth there when i'm in the shower. I hate the mess on the bathroom sink after you brush and store your toothbrush on the counter. I can still brush my teeth at the sink but keep all the paraphenalia in the shower.

I brush my teeth in the shower every morning. Never heard of it until I saw my husband do it. Now, I do it every day! That way I'm getting a 'water massage' and waking up while brushing my teeth.

When my son first started washing himself in the shower, instead of having his daddy scrub him down in the tub, he was also learning how to brush his own teeth--in the shower. He just started doing it; I didn't ask him to. He would "sing" whilst brushing his teeth...no neat trick. It became a game we played, his singing new kids' songs, brushing his teeth, and showering. He was 4, 5, and 6 then. He's now 52.

My late father did that when I was a child. Dad grew up in a military academy and brushed his teeth in the shower cause each cadet got exactly one-minute at the sink each morning.

I used to do that in high school when I was in a hurry. I haven't done that in years though. It's actually takes me just as much time whether I brush in the shower or not.

Not a big deal, I shave and brush my teeth in the shower. In fact, shaving in the shower, you do not need a mirror, FYI. Saves time.

I am a guy and I do that I also shave in the shower. It does save me time... and is less messy than cleaning the sink... and is less painful when shaving because its not so dry....Make sure to have a shower mirror in there though...
