They just announced it on ESPN radio, but I only caught the tail end of it, I want to say they said Jr would announce tomorrow, is this true?

Dale Jr. to make announcement Wed.: could this be the big announcement of where Dale Earnhardt Jr. will go and who he will drive for in 2008 and the future? NASCAR Nextel Cup driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. has scheduled a news conference for Wednesday at 11:00a,/et at his JR Motorsports race shop. [This is NOT open to the public] A full transcript will be released shortly after the news conference.(JR Motorsports PR)
SPEED to televise UPDATE: must be big....SPEED will interrupt regularly scheduled programming Wednesday morning, June 13 at 10:00am/et in anticipation of a live press conference from JR Motorsports about the future plans of Nextel Cup Series driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. At 11:00am/et, John Roberts will host a special live edition of The SPEED Report, with Bob Dillner on site in Mooresville, N.C. The press conference is expected to last one hour. At 7:00pm/et, SPEED will present a special half-hour edition of The SPEED Report to summarize the day's events.
And XM Radio Sports Nation (XM channel 144) will also air the press conference live.
AND Officials with Gibbs Racing said that the team is not involved in the news conference.
Ginn Racing and Joe Gibbs Racing are rumored to be the 2 front runners in the Jr. Derby.
WOW, read the link that Ronald C provided. It's sounding like Hendrick might have pulled off the upset of the year, heck it's true it would be the upset of the century. If Hendrick is getting RID of Kyle and GETTING JR it will be the move that we talk about when we're in a nursing home!

Tommorrow at his race shop in Mooresville at 11 EST on Speed. I think he will announce what he will do tommorrow.
Here are the front runners:
Hendrick-Already said they are out of the running
Gibbs- Does not want a Budweiser sponsor and said that he has no involvement with the press conference
Ginn- They are out of the running despite being one of the best fits
Childress-Childress is in New Zealand until Thursday
This leaves either Jr. starting his own team or someone is lying. I think it would be the first statement because he is having the press conference in his shop.

Yes he will announce it at 11:00 eastern time. Speed Channel will broadcast.

Wow...good Dale goes to a quality workforce with quality teammates and Budweiser will likely be effective wherein ever they cross. It is unhappy to look them facet methods however...the whole thing that occurs, occurs for a intent. I do not believe Bud will go away DEI given that they're nonetheless below agreement with them... and I heard that Evernham may be watching at different sponsors for Kasey as good....Its simply all a multitude correct now. I can not wait till 2008 whilst the whole thing is obvious, and we all know who Jr's new sponsor will likely be!!! Yea ^_^ So the truly query is who's the Bud gonna sponser subsequent yr? I can snapshot folks dancing round making a song to the drivers "Is this bud for you....for you otherwise you otherwise you otherwise you..is that this bud for you?" lol

I thought his sister gave him until the end of July to make his decision. It's not for sure that he's going to announce where he is going for sure tomorrow. He just may let everyone know where he stands as of now. Heck, he may even say he's not leaving DEI and will be getting 51%. You just really never know. The media makes speculations and rumors and they could easily publish it making people think 10 different things.

They're sayin' tomorrow morning. But, It's not POSITIVE that it will be about his 2008 Decision is what I've read. But, I'm sure it is. What else could it be!? Besides a sponsorship announcement but that should come after the team/car announcement. What does everyone think he will do!? My money is on startin' his own race team, usin' Hendrick Power.

This is the same question that has been asked over and over. The same answer applies now as before. You will find out at the same time everyone else does. When he makes his announcement, and not one minute sooner. I do know that his answer will not be the one I'm hoping for, Nowhere but home, for good!!!!!!

According to Jayski, Gibbs Racing is not a part of the press conference, so that should help narrow the field...
