Well for one- this is not at all tacky so ignor those catty uptight women. This day in age people are registering for everything from Money (On a Honeymoon Registry) to Pots & Pans. Being a wedding planner I have seen alot of women register for lingerie for their bridal shower. If Your grandma doesn't like it she can buy you something from your Wedding Registry! At most womens bridal showers you get Lingerie anyways, so by registering your saving yourself trips to the returns dept, and ensuring your getting something in your size and that you like. My maid of honor at my bridal shower actually put my size on the invitation (its all women anyways). I say GO FOR IT!
To Answer Your Question- Fredricks does have a registry online. However Victoria Secrets does not, they only have a wish list (which I am pretty sure only you can see or have access to.)

Does Victoria Secret or Fredrick’s have a bridal registry?

Unfortunately I'm at work, so I can't go check Vickie's or Fredrick's websites to answer this one. My suggestion would be check their websites. If they do NOT have a registry, go to Victoria's Secret, try on a few outfits and determine what your size is, in their clothes. Write the sizes down and give them to your Matron/Maid of Honor. She will likely be the person the guests will ask for information anyway. At least it will give your guests a good rule of thumb to shop by.

There are few things more embarrassing than being given lingerie in a size you know is too small....I know as a woman, that would make me feel horrified! LOL. Good for you to think of registering or at least helping your guests find appropriate size info.

I've never heard of registering for a bridal shower, but Victoria's Secret has a wish list on their web site. When you click on an item you like, there is an option to "add to wish list" at the bottom of the page. You can use that, and email your list to your maid of honor or whomever is hosting the shower. Congratulations!

I take it this is for your bridal shower, right?

I'm not sure if they do, but i dont know if its really appropriate to register for that sort of thing, even for your shower. Hopefully people get you lovely things in the right size, if not, most likely people willl include a gift recipt and you can return and exchange them anyways.

Not that I know of. I use to work at VS & we didn't have this option. Your best bet may just be to give your friends your average sizes & let them go shopping on their own.

Both should. I'd go with VS.
Personal showers are very nice.
