Also, where is a website that I could purchase the conservation and fishing licence for Montana online?

Well either something is wrong with my computer and my moms, or something is wrong with the websites you guys gave me. I tried those sites on my moms computer earlier and they wouldnt load on hers or mine. If they work on your computer and if you dont mind, could you tell me the limit for the different kinds of trout. Oh gosh!!!! I dont even know what streams we will be fishing at and I guess they are different per stream. Ugh. Ok well thanks!!

Species Daily and Possession Limits

TROUT

Brook trout 20 daily and in possession.


Combined Trout includes brown trout, rainbow trout, golden
trout and grayling Lakes/Reservoirs: 5 daily and 10 in possession, includes cutthroat trout. Rivers/Streams: 5 daily and in possession, only 1 over 18 inches. All grayling must be released immediately.

Cutthroat trout Lakes/Reservoirs: included in Combined Trout daily and possession limit.
Rivers/Streams: all cutthroat trout must bereleased immediately.

Lake trout 3 daily and in possession.

Not to sure on your exact region and or a purchase, but the link below may help ya' out, give it time ta' load up it's a slow one (Acrobat Reader). Try page # 28 and that'll be your limit section. Couldn't find Rainbow Trout but it has others, sooooooo just do a little searchin' on the site (couldn't do it for ya' ~ got horse's ta' tend to, and am runnin' late)... Hope the link helps.
