Actions speak louder than words any day.

You could swear up one side and down the other that you're a "Man of God" and still be having affairs on the side or embezzling money from the Church. You could talk all day about "Allah" and be getting drunk in the evenings. You could talk talk talk about "Harm none" but then be cursing at others or picking fights.

Talking the talk is one thing. Walking the walk is another.

"Actions speak louder than words"

Mat 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
Mat 5:15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
Mat 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Both are very important. We are to speak Gods truths and live them. God says works dont save us, but faith without works proves nothing to God. So, yes we are to speak truth, leave truth, and back them up by the actions we take. God says by their fruits you will know them. Fruits meaning actions.
SO oh yeah, great question. We must back up our words with faith filled action. Faith is an action word not just something we believe in. WE must be hearers of the word, as well as doers of the Word. I love the question and hope it makes everyone think that reads this.

Actions always speak louder than words--we should practice what we preach--it's only words...meaningless without follow-through in every day life.

"Action"=Karma, alone is important in Religion. You say "Thy shall not kill"-then kill 64 million people in two world wars and boast, you have 2 Billion follwers,-you cheat yourself-.Buddhism alone "preaches and practises" Non-violence-I am not a Buddhist-I wish,I were.
