I had been very interested in security since the September 11 attacks and wanted to step into it as a my career.
Ever since National Geographic Channel's broadcast of "Kill Zone Iraq", I had been really interested to work as a private security contractor in hostile environments like Afghanistan and Iraq despite contractors' lives are always at risk! It is not just the huge money which motivates me but it's the nature of the job which interests me! I'm looking for the 'real deal'!
I wanted to play a big role in helping with the reconstruction efforts in war-torn nations! I hate sitting back and watch the news everyday and not play a part in it!
I had also served in the military for 2 years in my country and had being taught military tactics, weapons' handling and also some counter-terrorism tactics! But I don't know if all that is enough to get me a job at Hart Limited!
I had sent in my application and still waiting for a reply!
I wanted the job really badly!

from personal experience with blackwater,i can say that they only want people with military or law enforecemt background with certain skill sets.if you aren't sure what those are,go to their website and start answering the questions.if you don't have anything they are asking for or quals they re asking for, chances are slim you will be picked.you have to realize that blackwater doesnt pick you to come to their facility to train you.you are supposed to know what to do when you get there.the 3 weeks there will be the 3 longest of your life and its not a training time.its a 3 week job interview, they can realease you at any time.if you do get picked to attend, you will more likely go through the wpps program wich deals with personal security.

Unless you have a specific skill set that the company is looking for, you are not likely to get a call back. There are many other contractors working overseas, you might try with one of them, gain experience and then apply again. However with only two years military service, it is rather unlikely you'll get a call. If you have language ability, medical skills, previous experience in the region, etc., that would be helpful. Don't dummy up your resume however, these guys have all the right contacts and will check you out.

Two years in your countrys military, where??
These company's want men with experience, not kids who are wannabe Rambos, in Iraq no experience makes you a liability not only to yourself but to your colleagues.

The firms listed above are not doing any reconstruction work only providing security for escort duty of equipment and civilian contractors.
