Considering most people start a full time job at around 20?

I don't think so. People start things in life at different times, everyone is different.

if you have to go to college before you can start your career, you'd be at least 24. that's just for the bachelor's degree. starting at 25 is not too late. I started my second career at 44 and a friend started at close to 60.

Not at all. I'm on pace to not graduate law school until i'm 26.
