Does anyone else get freaked out when someone says, I will pray for your soul or You should be thanking God? Would doing away with all religions help cure the world of its problems? Would a one world religion stop the insanity, abuse, and intolerance that many religions seem to inspire?

Your idea is nice, but how could 6 billion people agree on one religion? Why not just fade out religion and people find spirituality on their own terms? Then there would be 6 billion different religions and philosophies.

Which one religion? There's no good religion. All the made-up stuff to control the masses.

Freaked out? No. They are welcome to their fantasies - they can't affect me.

One world religion would not be a good thing, no matter which one it was. The Crusades, Inquisition, witch-burnings, and Taliban are examples of what that would be like.
