or is this a succesful attempt to control the church.if there is a truth in it, beside the writings in the bible...has anyone has a 'vision' or something which has convinced them this is real?

My father was not a christian he never even went to church at the age of 18 he was diagnosed with a heart condition Dr.'s said he would live no more than a week make a long story they were right . He found himself on his death bed he sais that he could feel himself descending down down down into utter darkness and he could smell and feel evil and hear people yelling and the smell of burning flesh .. but he could also hear his mother praying at the top of her lung so this happened three after the third tim he was up into his body he told his grandma who was near his bed this is it i am leaving again tell mom i love her tell her if i ever did anything to hurt her to forgive and again he descended into utter darkness until just before that same person came to get him and grab him by the shoulder he heard a voice in another language and this person had to let go off his arm and he began to ascend back into his body again he was screaming like he never screamed in his life he said it was so real he said the spirit realm is as real as the natural and when he reached into his body for the third time he could steal hear his mom in the porch yelling at the top of her lung and pleading to GOD that he would let my dad live and so GOD heard her crys and he said he was not healed instantly but he had to learn through faith to beleive GOD to get him out of that death bed and once he was healed and delivered he would go into a crowd and tell people i know hell is real if i didn't have a bible to prove and until the day he died september 03" he preached that same message Hell IS so real that he could prove this even if he didn't have a bible so YES its REAL

No. Satan was just another angel (see the book of Job) until the Captivity in Babylon. That's where Zoroastrianism was gaining popularity. That religion featured a good god (Ahura Mazda) and an evil god (Ahriman) in constant conflict with each other, until Judgement Day. When the Hebrews were allowed to return to their home, they brought these new ideas with them.
And no, the serpent in the garden was a serpent, not the devil in disguise. That's just retrofitting the myth to the new paradigm.

Its not The devill, Were In hell now, There is no such thing as HELL< hell is on earth, God is forgiving, The bible is real, but hand made, Man has added words for the last 2 thousand Years, No one can say there is a Hell, Can you prove it? geezo, Hell is here, Making a Dang living, Gas prices, Health issues, What more hell is there, My dang belives, I dont pay attention to christains, Rate me bad answer, I dont care, I dont look anyway @ that stuff. good day

You don't need a vision to be convinced the devil is real. Yes he does exist. He is at work all the time trying to decieve everyone that he can before his time is up.

I believe there is evil in this world but it is not the devil. The devil is a mythological creature like The Loch Ness monster or Bigfoot to me.

In my opinion no, the devil was used to explain the evil in mans heart. Humanity must face this evil if it ever wishes to conquer it. The devil is nothing more than a scapegoat.

Satan, Lucifer, and the devil are common names for the fallen angel that thought he could rule the world without God. He is VERY real. look around you, do you see the homeless, the addicted, the innocent suffering, hate, and abuse? these are all the horrible things that Satan creates. Satan loves to see people in pain. the world we live in today is controlled by Satan. this is not the way God intended things to be. Please read the Bible and attempt to understand the word. Satan is all around us. Deliver us from Evil!

The bible teaches there is a satan, for sure. When one studies the bible, and comes to know it can be trusted....that is when you can believe what is in there. Yes, there is a devil, and he is exceedingly happy that so many people do not believe he exists.

Yes the devil is real he's mentioned in the bible, no its not 'made up to control the church..it is the Christ that we are truly free:"If the Son sets you free you are free indeed." God doesnt want to control us, He wants us to love and follow Him because we CHOOSE to.
