A lot of times racist groups believe in Christian Identity which is different than Christianity. Christian Identity believes that Europeans are the descendants of the Ten Lost Tribes of Israel and, basically, God's "chosen people". They disagree with the teachings of Christianity from the Bible as we know it. I don't know about the KKK in particular but a lot of Aryan hate groups adhere to Christian Identity. It's a racist offshoot of Christianity.

At the base of Christianity is a love for another, forgiveness, and a total surrender to the power of God's love. This definitely does not sound like the KKK. But religion has long been used to justify evil, and perversions of true Christianity are being played out in most organized Christian religions throughout the world.
A snake can call himself a lamb, but everyone can see he is really a snake. Same logic.

Satan is so subtle. If a so-called Christian does not read the Word for themselves, they will believe anything.
All you have to do is quote some well-known scripture to a bible-illiterate person, add your own ideologies, and then you have them in the bag. The use of the scriptures just legitimizes things for those who want to control.
Aside from KKK, think David Koresh and Jim Jones, to name a few who misled gullible people who did not know the Word for themselves. They failed to test the spirits to see if they were of God.
Read and study people, please!

There are passages in the bible to support just about anything. The KKK's version of Christianity is what would be called "Christian Identity."
Here read this article about it: http://www.religioustolerance.org/cr_ident.htm

The same way someone can claim to be an Olympic gold medallist sprinter, and weigh 389 lbs, be a chain smoker, inhale a family pack of Twinkies 12 times a day. Obviously if you saw me and I looked like that, my claim to being an Olympic Champion would be null and void.
Same applies with KKK... they are lacking the very characteristics that should set them apart as Christian, the fruits of the Spirit.. love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith. No masters needed to see they don't LIVE their claim.
What better way to make a mockery out of God, and Christians, is to claim God, and do atrocities in his name? KKK are anti-Christ, with NO biblical basis for t heir stance. "For out of one BLOOD GOD MAKE ALL NATIONS".. "In Him there are no male, female, Greek nor Jew"... we are all equal in God's eyes.

No, there are no passages in the Bible when taken in context that support the KKK.

If you believe that Jesus is the son of god and the savior then you are a Christian. (maybe not a good one but you ARE one)
Some Christians are just ashamed that there are people like that in their religion so they deny them.

They can label themselves, but that's all it is. People could call me a Snipsnapper, but it would just be a label. Man looks on the outside, but God looks on the heart.

Because like all Christians, they are believers in the Bible with that special focus on the Gospels. Of course, their interpretation of certain lines and what lines they consider more important than others is different than the main stream. Then again, that goes for every sect of Christianity. They ARE Christians whether you like it or not.
