I am 17 lbs over than what I was before pregnancy. I've begun working out. Walking for an hour in the morning and in the evening. I also changed my eating habits. In the morning ill eat yogurt and fruit, for lunch i'll eat a tuna sandwhich on wheat bread and for dinner i'll eat a normal dinner but very small portions (i use measuring cups) And in between i drink water and have healthy snacks. Is this going to work. Im trying to get down to my original weight by August 17th. Please any feedback will help. Im also trying to ditch this pregnancy gut.

Sounds like you're on the right track, I just had my 6th child 7 weeks ago, I weighed 162lbs by the end of my pregnancy, and now 7 weeks later, I weigh 137lbs, by doing exactly what you're doing, also doing crunches for the little pregnancy gut. Just hang in there and don't give up, you won't notice yourself slimming down, but others will. You can do it.

find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Girl
I know how you fell, I had 20 pounds more after having my baby, I was in the K cereal challenge and it works, I did little exercise and always no matter what for dinner I had the cereal, and I was down too 109. pounds it was great I was a size 1. I really need to go back because I'm back in 119 pounds to a size 3 but, if I go back in a diet that's what I'm going to do no diet pills are good trust me I already try all of them. The cereal is healthy dint play with your health.

I know this will sound really simple, but it really is. It's all about calories taken in and calories burned. As long as you burn more calories than you take in you will lose. And since you are working out, that will definitely help. I started working out and eating better about 3 months ago and I have lost 25 lbs so far. 3 inch from my hips, 2 1/2 from my waste, and 2 from my upper arms. YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!
