Hay starving your self is definitely not a good way to loose weight. A few months ago, I had some kind of eating disorder and all the sudden everything i eat was coming right out. When i went to see my MD, he told me that i lost 14 lb in just two weeks. The first thing i said was yeeeehaaaa cus summer was just in the way; however, he said this is really not the way i should loose weight in fact he warned me to do whatever it takes to get back to where i was before I get myself in to serious problem such as Anorexia (active self-starvation or a sustained loss of appetite that has psychological origins). For me it was unnecessary I am 24 with 5.6 height and weighted 114 and loosing 14lb was like well you need to eat on many ppl eyes. So my best advise will be for you or anyone who wants to stay healthy and firm you must overhaul your eating habits, an approach called behavioral dieting, which are:-
1. Get yourself committed to weight loss.
2. Exercise
3. Learn your eating habits by observing yourself and keeping a "diet diary"
4. Learn to weaken your personal eating cues.
5. Count calories, but don't starve yourself.
6. Develop techniques to control the act of eating.
7. Avoid snacks
8. Chart your progress daily
9. Set a "threshold" for weight control.
Be very patient with this or any kind of dieting program. It takes years to develop eating habits. You can expect it to take at least several months to change them. If you are unsuccessful at losing weight with these techniques, you might find it helpful to seek the aid of a psychologist familiar with behavioral weight-loss techniques.
I hope his will help and have fun exercising :)

you can loose a lot of weight it takes some time but it's not good to do that i know i have done it 5 years ago i would make myself not eat because i was afraid of being over weight at the time i weighed 115lbs i started to eat because i wasn't healthy at all i was very pail and had dark circles under my eyes once i ate i put on a lot of weight what happens is if you starve yourself like i did once you start to eat again your body will store the food you eat because it doesn't know when it will get food again and you will become over weight and it is very hard to get the weight off i have been trying for 4 years now to get the weight off i think i lost a total of 10lbs in 4 years not good please don't make the same mistake i did work out every day and try a healthy diet like whole grains, fruits, veggies ect.

Starvation is NOT a good way to lose weight. When you starve yourself, your metabolism slows way down and your body greedily hangs on to every last bit of body fat that you have. As a result, it starts metabolizing the tissue that requires the most energy to maintain -- muscle. Not good. Eventually you'll get to the point where you won't lose any more weight on a starvation diet, so it ends up being counter-productive in just about every way. The best way to lose weight safely and to keep it off is to make permanent changes in your eating and exercise habits. It won't come off super-fast but your chances of keeping it off and staying in good shape are EXCELLENT.

I never starve myself. It's miserable. to lose weight easily, I recommend you take “Weight Loss 30” – a diet supplement made from natural herbs . It is safe and very effective. I lost 15 lbs in a month!! It will curb your appetite and you feel like drinking a lot of water and water will carry away the fat and waste of your body. Naturally you lose weight. So no pain at all!! That’s my experience. Hope it helps.
I bought it from this web site: http://www.goquickslim.com

When you starve yourself, or deprive your body of the bare minimum it needs to function, it goes into starvation mode. Basically, once your body realizes that it's not getting fed enough, it take anything and everything you eat and stores it as fat. To get your body to burn fat, instead of storing it, you need to eat lean proteins, healthy veggies (ie anything green or bright in colour), complex carbs (ie multi grains, unrefined flour) and flush out your body with lots of water. The more water you drink, the easier it is for your body to break down fat cells.
Starving yourself is one of the least efficient ways to loose weight and stay healthy.

I wouldn't recommend starving as you will not accomplish your goals. If you starve, your body thrives on your muscles, tissue and organs just to survive. The best way is portion control what you eat.Lots of whole grains, fruit, vegetables, lean proteins, dairy.Try to limit your junk items such as soda, candy, chips.Drink plenty of water each single day
Do simple activities such as walking, weightlifting, aerobics,Pilate's,yoga

Starving raises your body fat even though you lose a lot of weight. Why? Because you lose muscle not fat, so your fat-muscle ratio increases. Don't do it.
