This recipe is made using a slow cooker.
Take the size roast you want to the amt. of servings needed season all over with salt and pepper, chili powder, garlic powder or minced fresh garlic, take a onion sliced into rings placing some on the bottom of the cooker and place the rest over the roast cook on slow 8-10 hrs. shred and cut to bite size pieces. I like to make my sauce separate from the roast as it cooks because I seem to get too much liquid. The ingredients I use for my sauce are green pepper and celery chopped fairly fine and sauteed, tomato puree, some ketchup and mustard, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, a little thyme, a little basil and a little liquid smoke. Amts. will vary to the amt. of roast needed and to your taste. A little of the juice from the roast can be added to the sauce to thin if needed or desired.

Just cook a pork roast in a crock pot until done - then
shred or pull apart into the size of pieces you prefer.
Add your favorite BBQ sauce and simmer.
