When you put big buzzwords into your questions like abortion, don't expect any logical answers
try asking the question again later but maybe say termination of a pregnancy before delivery instead of abortion. I bet you get better answers.
also people don't seem to understand what neglect and manslaughter mean. I for one think you make a good case.
Perhaps you should clairfy that you mean involuntary manslaughter

There is no concensus as to when life actually begins. Some say conception, others say when the brain is formed, and still others say it's when the fetus could survive outside the womb. This is the reason that the law has stepped in and defined, for the most part, when abortion is or is not legal. Murder is usually defined, in legal terms, as, "illegal killing with malice aforethought," though there are variances. Because abortion is legal in many circumstances, it cannot be considered "murder" under the legislated sense of the word.
Now, if you are referring to the moral use of the word, then you can feel free to call it murder. However, just because one person thinks of abortion as murder does not mean that others have to think of it in the same way. Morality is subjective by nature. Regardless of your opinion, and it is an opinion and not a fact, abortion is only up to you if you are the one carrying the fetus. In some cases, rights are extended to the father, but usually rights are left only to the female, since she is the one who actually has to carry the fetus to term.
I have never had an abortion, and I never will have one. This doesn't mean that I am in a position to tell others what is right or wrong. To do so would be insulting, since I would basically be telling that other person that I am better than him or her. What kind of person really thinks they are better than everyone else?

That depends on the circumstances of the miscarriage...if we're following that line of thought. For instance, if a woman is hit in a car accident and the fetus dies, the person driving the other car IS charged with vehicular manslaughter. However, if the baby dies due to a genetic disorder (as happened to my first pregnancy) that could neither be predicted, prevented or treated in anyway. So in other words through no fault of anyone, I'd say no, she shouldn't be.

Abortion is murder. Also you shouldn't be charged with murder or manslaughter for a miscarriage because you didn't do, know, or want it to happen. An abortion you know that you are killing your baby you feel and see him. You see his heart beat disappear because you are to irresponsible to take responsibility for your actions.

Miscarriage and Abortion are two different things. Abortion is when the mother decides to kill the child for whatever reason and that is MURDER. Miscarriage is an unfortunate thing that may occur during pregnancy. The mother didn't delibirately perform teh miscarriage or decide to have a miscarriage.

no, abortion is murder, because you are making a choice to have a procedure done that will terminate a life inside you, how big or little it is even if its just a fetus, its something living that will develop into a real person, and you are choosing to take away the right to life. a miscarriage happens because of outside influences, you did not choose to get rid of it. maybe there where problems maybe not, but thats like saying we need to charge somebody with manslaughter if a house catches fire and kills someone who was trapped inside. a miscarriage is not your doing, abortion is and its disgusting.

Should a parent be charged with murder if their child dies of SUDC (unexplained death in childhood)? No, nature happens and thing occur for a reason.
Point is, we don't have the right to kill a healthy baby just because it is not wanted at the moment the child comes into our lives!

Yes, we should. You never mean to kill someone in an accident. But you are charged with vehicular manslaughter. So Yes.

Ooh, you've stirred up the pillars of righteousness with that IF.
For the hard of thinking there's no question about it: gut feeling becomes absolute truth in an instant, pausing only to select a few choice Biblical quotes to bolster their prejudice.

A miscarriage is one of those natural causes deaths. Some times when a woman has a misscarriage she doesn't even know she was pregnant.
I have a short story. My wife and I have been married for 3 years now and we have no kids. Two months ago my wife shocked me with the great news she wanted to have a baby. So of course we went about with the baby making act. Two weeks ago she was experience terrible pains during her cycle. It got so bad she had to go to the doctor. The doctor informed her that she had a misscarriage and that she was most likely 1 month pregnant.
