I work in a cabinet shop and my boss seems to be mad at only me and me being the youngest in the shop (32) seems to be a good reason for him to curse at me when I make a mistake. The other day I dropped of some material at a job site and put it where I was told by my immediate supervisor and when I got back to the shop my boss called and started literally cursing me out ( were talkin full blown four Letter words) when I tried to explain to him he said he didnt want to hear it which upset me cause it didnt seem fair that he could curse at me like that without me being able to defend myself or at least give an explanation, then he got in my face pointed his finger and said F%#K You so Isaid it back we cursed at each other I told him I was leaving and he said I didnt have to if I wanted to work I could he wasnt gonna fire me so I stayed thinking it would be different but the next day it was the same thing He works 7 days a week 12 hours a day! my girl is pregnant and the rent is due!

That really sucks. It sounds like it's probably a well paying job and you have bills to pay. You can suck it up or you can meet with him when he's not all high strung and let him know how you feel when he yells at you in that manner.
You just need to speak in a calm manner even if he starts losing his cool.

I stand there and take whatever he dishes out.
He forgets blowing up about 10 minutes later. He is just that way. He is one of the smartest attorneys I have ever known, and he is under a lot of stress. For him, blowing up is like a release of a safety valve. People who work for him just get used to his rants.
