There is no "line". A woman has a right to her own body. What don't you get about that!! Lets pretend that you could bear a child. So someone rapes you and this thing starts to grow in your body... really think about this. And then it is going to change your whole life. If you are not married people will look at you like you were a tramp. You will be sick and not able to work every day. Imagine what you would feel every day as this thing that was placed in you against your will and by force keep growing, daily reminding you of the trauma you had been through. Imagine telling your boss that you can't come in. Imagine having to tell the boss that you can't do your job for 6 weeks, at least. Imagine the pain of childbirth. I have never had a child, but I hear it is a living hell. If you are a man, just imagine what it would be like for you if a man could be in this situation. I think you might change your mind on the whole issue.

The supreme court laid out the rules. Read row v wade.
It is a fact though that each time a pro lifer forces a woman to give birth to an unwanted child, it is murder. Each fetus "saved" actually uses enough resources to save 12 loved and living children. So by writing this question you are encouraging the death of 12 children. What do you think that should be called ----murder_____?

Personally, I'm going to say that it's murder after the point at which the child could survive outside the womb.
For most babies, there's a 50%/50% cChance of them surviving after the first trimester. That means that if something happens to mother (Say a car accident) and she is about to die, they can do a C-section and in half of the cases the child will be born normal.
So, in answer to your question. After the first three months of pregnancy, it would be murder, before that, medically speaking, the child wouldn't live anyway.
Just 'tween us and the people in the stands, I think that premeditatively killing a baby (Abortion) is ethically and spiritually wrong.
As I have said before, I'd make exceptions in cases of incest, rape, and if the baby was going to be born with enough defects that he/she couldn't survive on his/her own, or if having the baby would kill the mother.
Any other reasons for an abortion are wrong, because then it sounds like it's just a case of "I had sex, and I don't feel like being inconvenienced with a child." or "I did the crime, I should serve the time," or for those from my generation. "I don't want to take responsibility for my actions."

The legal standard in America is a twelve week fetus. (...24 weeks in some states, but only if the women's life is jeopardized by her pregnancy.) In ancient Rome it was the child's first birthday. In ancient Israel it was when the child was one month old.
FYI, it wasn't understood until 1744 that a female mammal's ovaries actually produce ova (eggs). Prior to then, it was assumed that sperm were "seeds" which needed to be planted in a fertile female to "germinate."

I believe it is 22 weeks. Or if the mother's life is in real danger.
Murder is a legal definition. There are many cases where it is legal for me to kill someone. A doctor performing a legal abortion is not murder. You may consider it unethical, but it is not murder.

I am so torn on this issue. I do not believe in abortion...because I feel it IS murder at conception.
BUT...I can not possibly imagine a rape victim having to go through a pregnancy with their rapist baby!!

first of all you cannot get an abortion legally beyond the second tri-mester. if a woman is in labor, it is illegal abortion, or just an oops.

Sam Harriss slightly addresses this in Letter to a Christian Nation.
I dont believe that it's at the moment of conception. At conception all you have is dividing cells. That's it. Not a brain, heart, or lungs. I guess I define it at the time that all three of these things exist.

Not sure exactly what you're asking? Are you saying that when a baby is still-born, God should be held responsible for it's murder?
