Visited Italy a few years back.
Lovely country. Good reasonably priced food. Fascinating History. Some wonderful sights. Rome and Pompeii were fabulous.
Everyone was so helpful, they didn't speak English, i didn't speak Italian, but wherever i went people were really kind.
Just Pissed off that you are better at Football than us!
Yeah, i must go back to visit again.

Ciao!

I love the Italian language and all the wonderful dialects of Italy, Italian people, Italian food, folk music and cinema, her beautiful cities and landscapes, her fascinating history, and the heroism of all the people who have laid down their lives to make things better in Italy.

I hate Cosa Nostra, the 'Ndrangheta and the Camorra. I despise corrupt politicians and administrators. I am tired of hearing about unfairness and injustice in every walk of life. It upsets me that people with degrees who come from the South of Italy have to leave their homeland to find a job.

I like the people I meet who are courteous, I like the artworks the sun and the wine. i amire the transport system which appears to be reliable. I detest the way they try to make a cup of tea. I detest the airports. I regret the seeming lack of freedom their women folk have. All foreigners hate the red tape and i think corruption is worse than UK but Blair does his best to catch up./ Oh I like the beauty of many of the young women, but at my age I am reduced to people watching. I 'm tryting to learn the language but it's in one ear and out of the other

I have been to Pisa & Florence.

I loved the proper Italian pizza & ice creams.

I wasn't so keen on the driving skills of some people. There were many accidents on just one stretch of road when I visited.

Tuscany, the architecture, art, culture, free drinking fountains in Rome, pastas, and some friendly people are the good things.
Don't like the litter, noisy school children in trains, and crazy traffic.
And, love the music too. And Gina and Sophia Loren!

I have always wanted to go to Italy, especially Rome. I like the rich history, food, relaxed lifestyle and fashion but apparently they drive a bit crazy there.
