well you could just be self conscious, possibly what you are doing is that you have muscle inplace of that fat..and don't cut out eating because then your metabolism will slow so when you do eat it will retain more of the fat. just eat blanced and swimming is really good excersise.

Well, first of all - we're all different, so not everyone can expect to be able to slim down to 110 lbs. and look healthy. What's your family history like? What do you eat? Are you on birth control? (added estrogen and/or progesterone increase your ability to store fat and makes it difficult to lose it) Which meal are you skipping when you say you only eat twice a day? (breakfast is good for your body - you just got done fasting for over 8 hours or however long you sleep)

Besides, if you're healthy (cholesterol in good shape, no heart problems etc) you shouldn't be worrying about what the numbers say. Just keep exercising, drinking your water and a healthy diet that includes everything we're supposed to eat - proteins, carbs (yes carbs!), some fats etc. Don't skimp on things because of some fad with people screaming about how bad such and such is for you. Everything in moderation.

Of course I need to take my own advice! ha! Body image can create a huge struggle for anyone - you can have all the knowledge you want on dieting and healthy nutrition, but when you get out there in that bikini it's a whole different world, right? :)

Hang in there!

You need to eat more actually. Yes six times a day in smaller portions. And protien on every plate with plenty of fruits and veggies is the key. No eating after ten!!! How often do you run and how long? Cardio is very important. And don't just do run and walk thing, try different stuff like biking, skating, aerobics classes, DANCING. And its summer so go swimming. Make it fun cause thats the only way you will keep it up.

you could eat more - otherwise all you will lose is water weight and muscle NOT fat and slow down your metabolism
find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Add muscle. For every pound of muscle that you add your body will burn about 40 additional calories per day. So start including a strength regimen in your exercise program. Eat more meals, 2 meals a day will be interpreted as a famine by your body which will slow its metabolism down. You should eat 5 small meals a day. More info at:

According to Weight Watchers you're within a healthy weight range for your height. Try eating six smaller meals, lots of veggies, keep up with walking. Good luck!
