I get prophetic dreams and visions...I keep a journal by my bed and I write them down.

The difference between just a dream and a prophetic dream is 1. You will remember every detail of a prophetic dream. 2. It will be very vivid as if it is really happening. 3. It may be in color (think about it, we do not normal dream in color).

Most of the time, God gives me dreams to direct me, direct my prayers, that type of thing.

Once I had a dream about a friend of mine. In the dream, he was hanging out with this girl. He was telling me how beautiful she was, etc. In the dream he was fooling around with her in more than a flirting way...purity is a big thing for us...and he was fooling around with her in ways that would lead to impurity. It was like he was on the fence, trying to see how far he could go without actually "sinning". In the next scene of the dream, she was in a booth (like at a restruant) and I could see the back of her head. She looked normal. When she turned around she was very wrinkled and her skin looked like leather. She was old and unattractive. It was kind of freaky.

So I shared the dream with my friend. He said (and I agree with him) that he was doing some thing that were on the fence (not with that girl) and that God was telling him, what we think is pretty and beautiful can look very unattractive and repulsive to God.

I could tell you many dreams and visions I've had.

If you want more information on interpreting your dreams there is a book by Jane Hamon called "Dreams and Visions"

It is a really awesome book. She explains that God speaks to us through our dreams. That He speaks to us as individuals so when you have a dream about something, it will have specific meaning to you...that same dream for someone else might mean something totally different.

She also gives some heads up. For example, if you dream about tornados, it may be there is danger ahead and you need to pray for protection, etc.

After decades of asking God why things have happened they way they did in my life, not long ago I received what I believe to be a vision. In it, I saw a sort of representation of Time, every single event, one happening after another, after another, after another. It was only then that I understood that, not only do certain things happen for a reason, but that ALL THINGS MUST HAPPEN WHEN, HOW, AND FOR THE REASONS THAT THEY HAPPEN. Time is not some river of events that started up and just flows on and on. Time is a creation, just like an actual river, but it has a definite and finite beginning and a definite and finite end, and every single detail of it is programmed in. Every event works together to lead inextricably to every other event. If you change even the most minute detail of any one event, you change all of Time itself. As for prophetic dreams, no, I don't think I've had any, but I do experience deja vu more than most people seem to.

I have.

During the time of the first election of President Bush, I was feeling unsettled & told God I would pray & read the word first thing in the morning. But I didn't really follow through, being too tired.

So, one night I questioned how much I loved God. Then when I went to sleep, I ended my sleep in the morning with a dream that I had died in. This is the first time for me to have a dream that I died in. I was in my van parked getting ready to go. I was talking to someone in the front passenger seat & there was someone in the back. The garbage/recycle truck (curved back) started backing towards me aggresively. I put the van in reverse, looked behing & the trees accros the road/ a T. Started backing, but the truck hit me. I thought, "I could die? Where am I in Christ? Am I right with God?" I started praying to God backing up. The truck slammed into me & I died. Then I woke up.

Whenever I get a confusing dream, I ask God about it. So I did. Got a few answers. At the next service at River of Life Fellowship, the Pastor preached that we can test ourself to see if we love God easily with a self question. "Do I obey God?" Well at first I thought yes, then an inner reminder that I wasn't reading the bible or praying first thing in the morning. So, then I repented & started doing this regularily.

Also, on the news, a Christian lady with someone in the passenger seat & a baby in the back got in a wreck with a garbage truck about the same time of the dream. And also the baby died later in the hospital. She was in the wrong place at the wrong time. It could also happen to me. I could die, by being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

At that time there was a more intense spiritual battle going on (elections) & I needed to be in tune with God first thing in the morning & to follow after the Spirit throughout the day.

So, I believe this particular dream was God disciplining me. To get me to follow through with my convictions to study bible & prayer 1st thing in the morning & follow after the Spirit throughout the day.

I once saw myself... im not being stupid lol there was no mirror or anything like that... but i used to get this alot when i was younger. I used to be out of my body sort of and I'd be able to watch myself from the stairs while I'd walk into the kitchen... and i used to watch myself in the trolly while i was walking...

I grew up and i only get them sometimes... and once i saw my ex before he came... (this is sounding really wrong and stupid right now... but i'm having a moment where everything sounds wrong lol)
i was standing round a corner waiting for him. I saw him so clearly i thought it was actually him. i waved and he vanished. Then just a second later he came round the corner.

Please don't think im stupid... he's the only person ever in my life to tell about this... :(

Yes, i can say that many have had their share, my spouse is one that has frequent things come to pass, we all have the innate gift but their are others that are so detached from their sensitive side, (the cynical people) that are unable to see other then whats in their face, but yes the bible said in the last days these occurences will happen more frequent but even those that dont know christ personally still can have this gift but many will use it wrongfully or not use it for any benifit.

Yes. I had a dream on the day the tsunami came ashore in Asia in 2004. I was in the tsunami and was trying to get to safety. 6 months later, Hurricane Katrina came ashore and my community was in the eastern eye-wall. The storm surge came ashore and looked just like the tsunami did.

I feel another hurricane coming this summer, to my area.

I have a vision that if everyone focused their thoughts and energy on a healing of our planet and all that lived in it that we could avoid the apocolypse that is being manifested by all those who believe in it. We could have a rebirth of God's beautiful creation.

YES, I DREAMED THAT I SHOOK HANDS WITH RICHARD NIXON THIS WAS THE YEAR HE RAN FOR PRESIDENT.

I TOLD THE NEIGHBORS ABOUT MY DREAM LAUGHING ABOUT IT. WELL, SIX MONTHS LATER I WAS AT KNOTTS BERRY FARM AND HE WAS THERE CAMPAIGNING. I SHOOK HANDS WITH HIM JUST AS IN MY DREAM. HE WAS ELECTED THAT YEAR.
I HAVE HAD OTHERS AS WELL.
