It is a good idea because of all the chemicals that their skin encounters during the day. From sunscreen to chlorine, it can leave their skin itchy and dry, and for some people can even cause rashes if left on the skin too long. At the very least, having them rinse off in the showers in the locker room - even if it is without soap will help get the chlorine off. It comes down to sort of a comfort thing, so in a rush it would not be a big deal, but if you have a few extra minutes have them jump in the shower, or if it is a baby take the baby in with you for a few seconds to rinse off.

Some chlorine remains on the skin after rinsing. So since my daughter is so blonde, and has somewhat dry skin, I always do put her in the tub to get all the chlorine off/out.

Depending on if they sweat or not after getting out of the pool.
I never took a shower after being in the pool when I was little, but I would stay in the pool until past dark! :) LOL
But you might want to get the chlorine off your tykes :)

As long as they do a good job of rinsing off in the shower they should be fine. Although you might want to put some moisturizing conditioner in there for their hair.

yes, to rinse all the chemicals and chlorine off, plus a cool shower might feel good and help them relax for bed.

I think so- it gets all the chemicals off their skin (the sunscreen, the chlorine), Makes them feel better- especially when I give them a lotion massage after the shower!

yes because they need tp get all the clorine off their bodies and out of their hair. I have blonde hair and if I don't get a shower right after I go swimming it will turn green because f the clorine. So yes, you need to because its not very good fro there bodys and hair.
