You just don't understand the Hebrew, that's all. (Well, perhaps you also have an agenda, but I digress.)
Before your impromptu Hebrew lesson, let first show you a couple of Scriptures that tell us we can eat meat.
"Everything that lives and moves will be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you everything." (Genesis 9:3)
"Instead, we should write to them to keep away from things polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from anything strangled, and from blood." (Acts 15:20)
Now, to the Hebrew. You are correct that the Hebrew term translated "kill" in the King James, means "murder." The Hebrew word is ratsach, (Pronounced raw-tsakh') and is Strong's Reference # 7523. It is a primitive root; properly, to dash in pieces, i.e. kill (a human being), especially to murder.
God's grammar is fine. You just took a poor translation as Gospel truth.

"You will know that it was the LORD when he gives you meat to eat in the evening
exodus 16:8
"Tell the people: 'Consecrate yourselves in preparation for tomorrow, when you will eat meat. The LORD heard you when you wailed, "If only we had meat to eat! We were better off in Egypt!" Now the LORD will give you meat, and you will eat it.
numbers 11:18
" 17 "But you must not redeem the firstborn of an ox, a sheep or a goat; they are holy. Sprinkle their blood on the altar and burn their fat as an offering made by fire, an aroma pleasing to the LORD. 18 Their meat is to be yours, just as the breast of the wave offering and the right thigh are yours. 19 Whatever is set aside from the holy offerings the Israelites present to the LORD I give to you and your sons and daughters as your regular share. It is an everlasting covenant of salt before the LORD for both you and your offspring."
numbers 18:17-18-19
When the LORD your God has enlarged your territory as he promised you, and you crave meat and say, "I would like some meat," then you may eat as much of it as you want.

Well, since God commanded the children of Israel to sacrifice animals it appears he wasn't referring to them in this commandment. You may remember he once told Peter to rise, kill animals and eat them....
Acts 10:9 On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour: 10 And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance, 11 And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth: 12 Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air. 13 And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat.

I don't know for sure, but bears get by okay. They only have an occasional meat meal. Most of it is vegetation. Death entered the world after sin -- therefore it is a common belief among Christians that animals did not eat other animals until after the fall. It is entirely possible that the God who spoke these animals into existence, gave them a different set of teeth if such a thing were necessary.

Thou shalt not murder.. And that is the best translation of that passage.. God showed us that we are to use the animals he created:
Genesis 3:21
Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
Here is the wording from a more modern version of the Bible. The wording is from older manuscripts in todays, English..
Exodus 20:13 NSA
You shall not murder.

The Fujian blue tiger is part of Japanese mythology. Every time a normal orange tiger goes to die it has to find a blue tiger first, apparently. However, no photographs exist and no-one reputable has ever reported seeing one.
Back in the 19th century one explorer from Britain however obtained a blessing from his minister and set out to find a blue tiger in the mountains of Fuji. He lost his companions, his money and most of his possessions. One day as he was staggering exhausted and ragged along a narrow mountain pass with a cliff wall on one side and a sheer drop on the other, a blue tiger suddenly appeared in front of him. The two regarded one another in surprise for a few seconds.
The explorer fell to his knees and clasped his hands together. "Thanks be to God," he cried, "for I have finally found the famous blue tiger of Fuji. All I ask for now is that this tiger is a good Christian tiger."
He was very surprised when the tiger also sat back on its back knees, placed its front paws together, closed its eyes and began "For what I am about to receive..."

That reasoning is so flawed. The commandments are for humans and about human relationships with God and each other. "Thou shalt not kill" refers only to humans and if you will consider for a moment that God, Himself required man to kill animals for blood sacrifices in order for man to have atonement for sin, the concept is pretty clear. I understand your deep feelings for animals, and I, myself love animals, but, leave God out of your reasons to never kill them because He evidently doesn't agree that no killing of animals is the way to go. He even told Peter in a dream that it was alright to eat anything as long as it was offered first to God for a blessing. (This was so Peter would know he could eat pork if blessed by God). We don't live in a perfect world because of Adam and Eve's disobedience to God. We now have to suffer man's inhumanity to man (and the other creatures), but, God has never said man couldn't eat animals that I know of except in some special circumstances(the exception...not the rule). There are plenty of opportunities in scripture for HIm to tell us not to eat/kill animals but He doesn't.... there is time after time in Old and New Testament where meat eating and animal killing is talked about.
I have no problem with your stand to never eat meat, but you cannot put words in God's mouth and in fact, I believe He curses anyone who adds to or takes away from His Word (in meaning or otherwise). If you really want to help your cause, just state why it's a better idea to go along with your commitment. Speak from your heart. Speak for the animals. It's a better way to get your point across. God bless you and give you peace.

Actually many translations do use the word murder. And other parts of the texts clearly speak about killing animals.
I understand you feel that killing animals for food is wrong, this argument just doesn't stand up.

Read your bible. It gives intsrucktions on how animals that are used as food is to be kept, killed and perseved. How they are to be cooked. It tells which animals are to be used which are nto. The commanament is about killing people not animals. Why do Christians try to use htere holy writings to justife thier own opinions. And most of all read what6 AZ said.

You have a misunderstanding of the translation of the word. The correct translation in english is murder. Either way, it is not wrong to kill and eat animals.
"Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. I have given you all things, even as the green herbs" (Gen. 9:3). These words were spoken to Noah, but they were meant for all mankind for all time. In 1 Timothy 4:4,5 the apostle Paul wrote, "For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving; for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer."
Justified.
