My neighbor made a false 911 call. How can we get a copy of the call from that night? The local law enforcements claim they are waiting. It’s been three weeks. Is this normal?

Based on the info you provided, they won't give you a copy of the call because you have no reason to get one. If your taking your neghbor to court because of the call then your lawyer will get a copy via a supoena.

You don't state who "we" is therefore the question would be what right do you have to getting a copy of the call!

If a false call was made and the 911 agency files charges an attorney representing the defendant should be able to legally obtain the transcript through "discovery," but there is no obligation upon the 911 agency to provide copies of telephone recordings without a court subpoena!

Best wishes.

What is your issue with the 911 call? Was harm done to your guest or to you? You have no claim with out proof of damage and no you will not be able to get the recording without a subpoena.
