If you want to become a radiologist, I would say go right into school for it - don't go to rad tech school first. It's going to take something like 10 years, so why put it off?
If you do want to become an x-ray tech (or sonography, nuclear medicine, or radiation therapy), here is some info:
For a list of accredited educational programs in nuclear medicine, contact the Joint Review Committee on Educational Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology, 2000 W. Danforth Road, Suite 130, No. 203, Edmond, OK 73003, or visit www.jrcnmt.org.
For information about accredited educational programs in sonography, visit www.jrcdms.org or write to the Joint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, 2025 Woodlane Drive, St. Paul, MN 55125-2998.
For names and addresses of accredited schools in radiography and radiation therapy, contact the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology, 20 N. Wacker Drive, Suite 2850, Chicago, IL 60606-3182, or visit its Web site at www.jrcert.org.
The Web site of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists also includes a list of accredited programs in radiography, radiation therapy and nuclear medicine. Go to www.arrt.org.
The Web sites of many of the profession's membership associations contain information about careers, scholarships and the radiologic science profession. Visit the American Society of Radiologic Technologists at www.asrt.org, the Society of Nuclear Medicine at www.snm.org, and the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography at www.sdms.org.

I would Be a radiologist Much more money and Job Security.
But u have 2 kids and radiologist is a medical doctor so it would be at least 7 years of school are u prepared for that?
X-ray tech,Mri,CT,nuclear medicine and radiation therapist are all assistants to the Doctor the radiologist.
The highest paying are Nuclear Medicine, radiation theapy, and Ultrasound.
I would do any one of those three before X-tech
x-tech is the lowest paying and most work. check it out at salary.com
nuc med, ultrasound, radiation theapist all are better than x-ray tech

im a radiologic technologist, im work in S. california at kaiser. being a rad tech is cool. its good money. depending on where you work, your going to see it in your pay. if you work at a clinic, it would be less than at a hospital. i think almost anyone can do this. it opens doors to cross training and other modalities like mri, ct, radiation therapy, and nuclear medicine. as for radiologist is cool too, but they are doctors. they just dont look at xray all day long. im sure you have to go to school for a longer period. go for being a radiologist if you have the time.
Jr. colleges have RT programs, usually cheaper than like a private or major colleges. chaffey is a good school, a little harder than the rest but its good.

if you want to get a job as a x-ray tech you will need to be certified there are plenty of jobs out there that are common sense but employers want that "security" that you know what you are doing One last thing do not jump into the first school you see offering this program do your homework about multiple schools before choosing the right one for you

A dog should be trained on how to eat, walk with you, not to bark, potty training and sleep on its place etc. You can teach anything to your puppy, dogs get trained easily with some good instructions. If you want some good training tips visit https://tr.im/gPKax
If properly trained, they should also understand whistle and gesture equivalents for all the relevant commands, e.g. short whistle or finger raised sit, long whistle or flat hand lay down, and so on.
It's important that they also get gestures and whistles as voice may not be sufficient over long distances and under certain circumstances.
