? you are showing your age... i don't think there have been music videos on my for 10 years... and by "making" i mean thats what's on tv while i am working on my laptop

How MTV can even call itself that anymore is disgusting. All I see are dating shows based on erroneous concepts that would never fly in the real world. I mean, c'mon, "Next"? And don't even get me started on "My Super Sweet Sixteen." There are more important things in the world than attractive co-eds.
You know, there was a time, not too long ago, when MTV stood for social change, awareness, and music that was actually good. What happened?

i thought i was the only one. The generation of people that are obsessed with MTV and the lifestyle it encourages are going to be the generation that are running things one day. That is a terrifying thought. Every person on MTV is only worried about what they look like and how many people they have slept with or can and want to sleep with. It's a brave new world ahead my friend. But it's ok. somebody's making some money to destroy the world. too bad they won't be able to spend it.

No.I'm sorry to say that i disagree , i say this because of being a child / teen i have learned that humans can very well relate to music.If your girlfriend "makes" you watch it , try to relate or just play on you cell phone. :D when i was younger my cousins got abused.They would always listen to this one song from billy talent it talks about a child who is unnoticed and ends up killing himself.I didn't realize why they listened to that song at the time but now i do. And i am grateful to be alive and healthy.
P.S tell your girlfriend that you don't enjoy watching MTV.(no one can make you do ANYTHING)
