my right ear is very plugged and won't become unplugged and it's driving me crazy! I know that it can't be earwax because I keep my ears clean. Is it a sign of the beginnings of an ear infection? How can I unplug it? Please help!

Okay, to avoid the whole q-tip thing, which is DANGEROUS, go to your local Walmart or something to that effect and buy something called Swimmers Ear.
This is normally used by swimmers to get the water out of their ears if it's gotten in there deep.

Take some allergy medicine that has a decongestant to reduce the swelling inside your ear.

If all else fails, go see a doctor.

it is likely that you have a swollen sinus on that side, so your inner ear which normally drains excess fluids thru the eustachion tube cannot drain, the sinus is blocking it. Take a decongestant like psuedaphed to decrease the swelling in the sinus so the ear can drain properly. NEVER EVER put a q-tip in your ear.

most likely allergies...fluid collects in ears when sleeping. use a q-tip...very gently--to absorb some moisture.
