When i was smaller, my mother told me that she dreamed that she was crossing a river with my sister and i (we are twins). Sudenly water started coming from all direction and seemed to be covering us. Dirty water i mean.

At the same she held up her ahnd and cried " father i stretch my hands to thee no ther help i know"..then suddenly a rock began to grow beneath us. It grow and bent itself over and placed us securly on the other side of the river bank.

Today, of all the children my mother had (seven), only my sister and i have graduated from highschool, go to college and have a serious career.

My mother was and is a Christian. She has been throughmany strugles.

Do yo have testimont similar ro this?

In a dream from the Lord, water usually represents the spirit. Dirty water would represent an unclean spirit. With this much water it makes me think it is an unclean religion (church or denomination). I not saying it is satanic but rather SOMETHING is just right about the spirit of it. It is was about to cause y'all to be carried away.

The rock would represent Jesus. He lifted you up and set y'all in a place of safety. I'm not real sure how this ties in to graduating high school and going to college and having serious careers. But however if this dream was from God you can step back and examine your life and see what the Lord has done for you. What he took you out of and what he has led or is leading you into.

How is this a testimony? It is your mother's dream and most dreams aren't remembered in this much detail which makes it questionable at best.

If your mother the bearer of the lives and had some 'special" protection God would not leave the rest of her offspring behind.

"my mother had (seven), only my sister and i have graduated from highschool, go to college and have a serious career"

sounds like she should have been more concerned about her raising her children properly instead of spreading fantasy as some sort of testimony.

Also seeing as how you went to college shouldn't you know dreams don;t work like this in the psyche and it dowsn't fit the definition of testimony.

Both my parents are atheists. I am sure that they have had strange dreams in their lives at some point.

Three of us have degrees, one from Oxford University.

The one who went to Oxford is a Member of Parliament.

The one without a degree runs one of Britain's largest theatre companies.

The eldest is a teacher.

I have a good job at a high tech company.

My point is that your mother had a dream, that is all. Whatever success or failure you have in life is by your own hand and by luck.
