I just need to know before I buy a B.B. Gun and kill the little beast, but I do not want to upset my neigbors.

Sprinkle the yard with black pepper.Also,scatter a few mothballs around.I had to do it and it worked.Good Luck!

My cats always dig deep and bury their poo. I never see it loose, unless it's winter with frozen ground.
You might stop trying to scare them away, and see if they can bury it properly. If not, get yourself a garden hose or a large squirt gun and douse them when they come into your yard.
No BB guns! I'd have you in jail so fast for that it would make your measly little brain spin.

That's funny. When I take my cat outside...she won't go outside, I have to take her back in to the liter box. We were out for hours one day with her on her harness and leash and I thought, maybe she has to go to the bathroom.....I take her in and she runs straight to the liter box and goes.....weird....she NEVER goes outside.....sorrry I can't help ya.

Mothballs, put them where the cat comes in. It will freak them out and they won't come in.
