It says on the box 8 weeks for the Frontline. I adopted a kitten 4 weeks old from the shelter and they put Advantage on her. I wouldn't put anything the vet didn't ok first. The kitten needs to be with mom for at least 8 weeks. She will show it survival and social skills it will need all it's life. Patience pays off. ♥

It should be a minimum of 8 weeks before separation from the mother.

Aslo, no Frontline or any other chemical product like that before 8-9 months old. Some people will tell you otherwise, but it's not safe. You can wash your kitten with Dawn dishwashing liquid and it will kill fleas.

If they are under six weeks just put some on the mommy cat and that would protect her babies as well. If they are six weeks and older then yes they can get a treatment just make sure to use the right dosage and follow the directions. it wouldn't be a bad idea to shampoo your carpets either that way more wont show up later. flea eggs are under the couches and under furniture where nobody walks so if you do shampoo then move your furniture around.
