Samsung. And I absolutely LOVE it. No complaints.

We got ours at Best Buy. It's 27 inches Flat screen (not flat panel) HD and it was the display model so it was discounted. It didn't come with a remote... but pretty much any cable or sattlelite company now, gives your their own universal remotes.

good luck finding something.

There's little difference in all those TV's at the discount stores. Right now is a great time to buy what they call a digital tv. They are making room for all the HDTV models that are now under $500 - $600.

If you can get a Sharp, Panasonic, or Toshiba, that would be excellent. If not RCA, Sanyo, or even Emerson would serve you well.

Stay away from Sylvania. I bought a 32" Sylvania for that price at Sears, it lasted 4 years, but I have put that same model in my browser, and it sounds like, mine has lasted longer than others. Good idea to ask for advice before doing it though. Sears wanted $90.00 just to look at it.

JVC and Panasonic both make killer models that provide a ton of features, are extremely reliable, and are available over a mass-market scale.
