The "driving around looking for purpose" is so ridden with Christian moralism and therapy that in my opinion, it's borderline heresy.

Why should we believe in God?

Every person will believe one day, it may just be too late when that time comes for many. The benefits of believing and knowing Christ as your personal Savior, the One who died for your specific sins, are great. But first and foremost, everyone who does believe will be reconciled with God through His grace, restored to a right relationship with Him, and remain with Him for eternity.

I believe in God because I know He exists. It's obvious in all of creation. In the precision of the stars, moon, sun and planets and the way they orbit. How our planet is placed exactly where it needs to be in correlation to the sun to keep from being too hot or too cold. The way the oceans have tides that come and drag impurities out into the deep. The complex way that our human bodies and minds work. Humans have for centuries felt a need for God. When a person is in true fellowship with God their life is changed. How could this presence not exist and yet change so many lives over the years?

Then there's the Bible. There is enough manuscript evidence to prove that the New Testament says exactly the same things that it did 2,000 years ago. There are also writings about Jesus outside of the Bible. There are fulfilled prophecies in the Bible. There were over 100 specific prophecies in the Old Testament about who the Messiah would be and Jesus fulfilled every single one completely. The odds of that happening are astronomical. If the Bible has been proven true on so many accounts, it must be true about the one and only God.

You should believe in God because it's just a fact that He is. He is the ultimate reality, and refusal to believe in what is real is the very definition of insanity. Not only so, but He is worthy of your belief. Furthermore, any other explanation of life coming into being MIGHT be real, but we don't know. The earth and universe MIGHT be as old as scientists say it is, but we don't know. Just because various non-Biblical explanations seem to fit what we perceive are facts does not make them facts nor make them the one and only explanation of how things came into being. There are literally millions of other explanations we've not yet thought of which could possibly better explain these events, and millions of different ways that the information could be interpreted. Indeed, even scientists can't agree on the particulars, then point the finger at Christians saying "Why can't you all believe the same way if God's real?" If their science is correct, why can't they all agree on it? The bottom line is that we don't have, and will never have in this life, all the facts. One day, everyone will know the truth. For some, this enlightenment may come too late.

Because nothing is created without a creator!

If someone is not satisfied about the existance of God it does not mean that there is no God!!

No scientist can deny the Creator but they do not accept the attributes given by different faiths. Science and its laws are created by the one and the only God - The lord of the universe.

Do the unbelievers have any authentic reason to deny the existance of God ?

The quick answer would be Pascal's wager.

However you should only believe in God if you choose to. While I personally don't see a point in believing in God people I know believe in God because it helps them get through life. They use God as a way to cope with things and in that case Religion is still good because the people that need hope can get that hope.

It is my personal view that belief is based on the spiritual and the historical -- as well as corroboration by the physical.

Likewise, I don't feel that beliefs should be forced on anyone for any reason and that we as individuals should be left to our own spiritual (or secular) journeys.

The role of belief is the guidance of self and the actualization of what we view as reality.

I was shopping with my wife the other day and I saw a small child crying after she had lost her mother. A shop assistant was trying to consol the small child but the child knew she was lost and this caused her distress. At lunch I saw a couple of other children playing with each other quite a distance from their parents whom they were oblivious to and I realised. Some are the child who was lost, consoled when they found God. I was a child in the group of friends who didn't realise I was lost until my parents called me from far off.

Why should you believe in God? Because we shouldn't wait until we know we're lost to find Him.

God loves you and you miss so much in life when you don't experience Him. Also, you have a sin problem and God has solved it for you by offering Jesus. You can receive a pardon and live with God forever when you die.

Having a faith based life gives you the opportunity to have God direct your path (Proverbs 3:5,6). It really is a personal relationship that enhances life immeasurably --- and he can give you wisdom and purpose.

Why wouldn't anyone want to have God in their lives?

We shouldn't. But unfortunately some people do not have the ability, or inclination to see that caring and respecting other is a good thing for all concerned.
They need God as a sort of moral imperative.

The biblical objective is NOT to 'believe".
Rather the biblical objective IS to "know".
Knowing truth makes you free of believing lies.
Ye shall KNOW the truth ... shall make you free.

Devils notably "believe": James 2:19
Their belief also makes them fear & tremble.
So then "believe not": Mt 24: 23,26; 1John 4:1

Beliefs can be both certain and uncertain.
Know-ing is only certain, never uncertain.
There's no miss in get it: "understanding".

The GRACE(ONLY) of our Lord JC with you all. Amen.
