No! It is in very poor taste! And even if your fiance is okay with it, people will talk about you. Don't do. I'm sure they will understand why they weren't invited.

As long as everyone is okay with it there should be no big issue. And there are so many different scenarios on why they might be "ex in-laws" it would be hard for me to say a blanket no. We plan on inviting my boyfriend's former in-laws to the wedding and lighting a candle in remembrance of their daughter and my father. Each situation is unique and if everyone can handle it then go for it.

you can invite anyone you want to. my ex in laws and my fiance's ex in laws will be invited to our wedding. there are no hard feelings about our previous relationships at all, we all accept each other as family regardless. my ex in laws think my fiance is the best thing that's ever happened to me, and his ex in laws think the same thing vice versa.

I don't know, it just does not sit well with me. Plus, what will your future in-laws say. If I went to a wedding of a family member and found out the bride's ex in-laws were there. I'd be a little worried.

Inviting your ex-in laws says, "yeah, your son wasn't good enough, but this guy is great. Sorry, it didn't work out. " to them.

It says, " Maybe I'll invite you to the third wedding," to your new in-laws.

Don't air your old dirty laundry at the beginning of your new marriage.

That is entirely up to you and your fiance. If he is okay with it, then I would say, invite them! I had my husband's ex wife at our wedding...cause it was a long time ago, and they were still friends. Sure, there were people who thought me crazy, but I didn't care. It was our wedding, and our guest list.

Its always touchy. However if you are really close, why not?? I do agree with the one who said ask your financee, just in case.

Really this isn't unusual.

Good Luck :)
