Good Grief!!! your puppy doesn't have rabies. Rabies isn't all that simple to get to begin with. In order to get rabies your puppy would need to have come in contact with a rabid animal and have been bitten or otherwise gotten infected saliva into an open wound of some sort..it can take from 10 days to 6 months to even come down with rabies once infected..in otherwords extremely unlikely with a puppy.
The only way to even know if an animal actually has rabies since the symptoms can mimic other illnesses is for the animal to be euthanised and the head removed and sent to a lab for testing.
People really do need to get a clue concerning rabies, what it is, how it's transmitted, symptoms (not always evident and not always what people think)...also just because a dog bites, drools, etc defiantely does NOT mean by any stretch of the imagination that the dog has rabies!!!

What makes you think she would have rabies? Has she come in contact with wild animals or areas they would be? You really do not have to have the animal present to contract the virus. But there is NO easy way. For your dog really two options quarantine or they have to be killed and tested (they need to test the brain) Rabies can lay dorminant for upto 6 months with NO signs. I was just wondering why you are worried about this? At the puppy's age she really should not be running free, . As for you they just do the rabies shot series which is not very pleasant. No quick answers or fixes. Unless you have a serious reason to think the puppy had contact with the virus calm down and do not worry. But usually by the time the dog shows signs it is too late. But you dog is so young and should not be exposed to the threat unless youlet her run wild.

If your puppy is two months old then the chances of her having rabies are pretty close to zero. Since the only real test for rabies is to cut the puppy's head off and do an examination of the brain tissue you might want to keep that in mind.

My 3 month old puppy bites me all the time but he is an indoor dog and is never close to any wild animals or sick dogs so I dont worry. I dont think you should worry either. Dogs have to be biten and exposed to rabies before they can have it, Im sure you young puppy hasnt been exposed to anything like that.

More than likely your puppy doesn' t have rabies, when an animal has rabies they foam out of the mouth and they act aggressive. When I was a kid we had a dog that got in a fight with a racoon , the dog got rabies from the racoon. My dad had to take it to the vet and they put the dog to sleep.

I doubt you dog has rabies but you should goto the doctor and the shots you got once dont matter, if you do have rabies you'd have to get the shots all over again.

Some symptoms are pain or tingling at the site of the bite. Hallucinations, fear of water cuz of throat spasms, and paralysis. Unless it broke the skin, I think you'll be fine. But I don't thnk that the rabies is mature enough to due much harm. Maybe consult a doctor AND a vet to view their opinions. And decide from there.

if the dog doesn' t show at least two signs of rabies, take some deep breaths. if you're really concerned, call a vet, animal shelter, etc. there's a VERY small chance you have rabies-i'm not sure it can be passed that way unless your puppy broke through your skin. evaluate your pet for signs and then call a vet or something.

you will not be at any significant risk from rabies if any if you live in a rabies free country
if you do live somewhere that has rabies contact yourdoctor and ask them what they suggest
it is highly unlikely that either of you have rabies particulrly with such a young pup

If your puppy has come into contact with any wild animal or un-vaccinated domestic animal, you should take her to the vet for a test. If she hasn't been hanging out with any raccoons, though, she's probably fine. Animals only get rabies from other, infected, animals.
You are probably fine, don't worry about it.
