Open your phone book, find the CLOSEST State Child Support Enforcement Bureau's Address/Phone Number, and call them to find out if you can set an appointment to start the CHild Support Enforcement process.
DO bring with you your identification and information, the Probable Father's Personal Information (including where he lives and works), AND ... the Baby's Birth Certificate and all your living expenses by MONTH detailed out for the past year ...
This is the information that Child Support Enforcement needs to OPEN the child support case. By the way, if HE DENIES he is the father, they will work with the Courts to set a DAY and TIME where he MUST SHOW UP to take a Court-ORdered DNA Test for sure ... and you must show up as well with the infant.
Good Luck -- this is the way to go in this situation.
By the way, Child Support Enforcement will take about 6 months to a year (on average) to start this process, go through the investigative techniques, and yes, bring it to court (if needed -- and that could lengthen the process).

Turn it over to your DA's Family support office. It's alot of paper work at first but they will track him down if he is working anywhere. They will keep track of him and if he has any income you will get childsupport. Good luck!
