Don't ever discard old ammo. Instead, box it up and send it to me. I will pay the postage and send you $5.00 - $20.00 through paypal for your trouble (depending on quantity and caliber of ammo). Email me if you want to discuss further.

What ever you do dont burn them. Just kidding. Contact you local firearms supplier ,local law enforcement office, or ATF and they can tell you the proper place to take them. I would not reccomned disassembling them.

You can turn it into your local police station if they are willing to accept it.

OR

You can contact a local gun shop or shooting range and they my dispose of it for you. There is a slight possibility they may charge a small disposal fee depending how much you have.

I don't recommend shooting it off - the older it is the more unreliable it could be. (misfires,blow up, ect.)

disassemble them - carefully. use lead, or other non-sparking tools.
