OK, this might really sound stupid, no offence intended, but my curiosity finally got the better of me. I've got to know, Does the song "Little Peter Rabbit had a fly upon his nose(3), So he flicked it and it flew away" have any patriotic significance in America, and if so, what is the significance? Coz i keep hearing that tune on so many movies in a patriotic context. Im frm India btw .
It goes somewhat like this:

The last time I checked it was "The Battle Hymn of The Republic". Now look it up.

And as for the person in the clip:
What can I say....I know..oh I know..

"Mine eyes have seen the story of the Rabbit and the Lord"..
How He grabbed that stupid rabbit, which He ripped,
and even tor'd.......
His boots came down upon It with a terrible force of weight,
It's stuffin now so battered, that a play thing now it ain,'t
It's was sick and sorely broken by the wrath of His assault,
The toy's days now were done.....

gory, gory what a hell of a mess he made,
gory, gory what a price that rabbit paid,
gory, gory how Your joke has been repaid
Your spoof is very wrong.

oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh.
Think about it when next You make a mockery of tradition.

i don't think of "new" ordinances on the issue of farm property should be unfashionable-lively. truly, if the land replaced into legally in a position to abode cattle even as those human beings offered the valuables, it would want to nevertheless manage to abode animals. city I used to stay in had a farm about 2 blocks from the downtown section. There are nevertheless horses there. that's easily fairly cool to rigidity into the downtown section and see horses operating by ability of the fields. that's no longer a large city, yet it really is beside the point. If a vet says the animals wellbeing gained't enable him to be moved, then i imagine the "city fathers" might want to might want to drop the action to have the pony moved. it form of feels like that's yet another case of the authorities infringing upon the rights of the electorate, besides the very incontrovertible truth that it is not the nationwide authorities. Did I pass over the reason those human beings want to horse to be moved? I kinda misplaced song of this tale very last week.
