Cola is SOOO bad for kids they are filled with sugar they are ten times worse than coffee. Coffee is actualy healthy for the brain IN MODERATION. Colas will literally kill you overtime. People are just ignorant. Also Cola dehydrates you and leaches calcium out of the bones.

Also the diet colas arent so good for you either, the artificial sweetners are bad for the brain and will screw up the motabolism.

Cola is NOT OK for kids. The sugar content alone causes many many children to become hyper, and rots their teeth. Any dentist will tell you they see a lot of children with cavities etc caused by cola. Also large amounts can cause stomach ulcers.

And you are so right, the caffeine is not healthy either.

If a person researched it, they would discover its not good for children. Unfortunately a lot of people don't do their own research, and take the marketing campaigns at face value.

Hope that helps. :)

I suppose it depends on where you are in the world. I am fairly certain that in some cultures (i.e. Italy, France, etc.) it is acceptable for children to drink coffee.

Now as far as the U.S. goes, i think there are many parents that discourage their childrens intake of "soda".

Here are some facts:

12-ounce beverage Milligrams of Caffeine
Coca-Cola Classic 34.0
Diet Coke 45.6
Pepsi-Cola 37.5
Diet Pepsi 36.0

8-ounce Beverage Milligrams of Caffeine
Coffee, Drip 115-175
Coffee, Brewed 80-135

Also, in addition to caffeine, sodas are loaded with sugars (unless you are drinking diet).

So, perhaps the safest bet is to stick with more natural/healthier beverages such as water, juice (100%), flavored seltzers, and on occasion a regular/diet caffeine free soda like Sprite or 7-Up.

Hope I helped some.

And caffine has more of an impact on the body when cold than when hot. I'd say neither would be good got kids. My kids had cola as a very special very sometimes treat. They are in university now and like cola ... but generally drink juice or something else.

Cola is not healthy for your kids. Sugar content is way too high along with the caffeine. Also cola can effect your kids bone growth. It eats away at the bones causing frail bones.

i think of you would be interior the minority approximately no longer liking pizza or cola. an excellent style of people won't understand what Vimto is regardless of the undeniable fact that. i like all 3, yet i do no longer in straightforward terms like the deep-pan pizzas. Pizzas weren't in any respect meant to be deep-panned. I in straightforward terms like the actual Coca Cola (nutrition ordinary). I hate Pepsi and all the cheap makes of cola - they are disgusting.
