Have you thought you could be anemic?

When you are getting close to, or have your periods, do you feel extremely drained?

Try eating some very high iron foods, such as, watercress, spinach and brocolli, but do not over cook them. The first 2, eat raw. If you feel a little better, this could be what it is.

What is your diet like? If you are not eating enough fruit and vegetables, this can affect you too. If you are very worried, go and see your doctor and ask for a blood test for: Iron count, thyroid and sugar/insulin.

If none of this comes back with a conclusive answer, work out how many hours you are sleeping. Divide it by 45mins. If you geet a number such as 10.6 ( 8 hours sleep.... [8 * 60 = 480/45= 10.6]) this could be why you are feeling tired. Try making sure you get a full 45 minutes before you wake up because your body works in 45 minute cycles. If you interrupt that cycle by waking up, you are more than likely to be coming out of the deepest part of your sleep. Make sense?

And if this still doesnt work, try moving your bedroom about. Make sure you have good air circulation, and no real clutter in your room. Make it a place for resting, so if you have a computer or office or filing in your room, take it out!

If you find you are sleeping with out waking up during the night, but you are dreaming, it means your mind is working, and you can be mentally exhausted, but not physically. My only advice is sort out any problems you have on your mind (easier said than done) or take a short break from it all!

Good luck!

I have the same problem because I am anaemic. That means I have low iron in the blood. They do a simple blood test to find out if you are, and they can either adapt your diet or provide iron suppliments. Another common cause of tiredness is bad sleeping patterns. A regular sleep time/wake up time is very important in determining whether you are truly rested. Another more extreme reason is Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. You are best to go and see your doctor and they can ask some questions and maybe do some tests for you. Good luck!

I think the first poster is spot on. I suffered from long term tiredness accompanied by loads of headaches. I went to the Doc who diagnosed Anaemia and said it was very common. He prescribed Folic Acid as I had some sort of deficiency causing the Anaemia. Worked perfect, no problems now, so may be worth getting that checked out.

Have you been stressed recently?

Stress --> Oestrogen Dominance --> “Health Issue”

This is a list health issues that can be brought on by hormone imbalance

http://www.ylcf.org/hormone-imbalance/06...

In Miram Brazel's list fatigue features. As a preliminary do the on line hormone tests at www.hormoneprofile.com or www.johnleemd.com

If as I suspect they suggest you obtain hormones please have a saliva test done see www.npis.info or www.salivatest.com. A saliva test will check out active hormone levels something that blood tests do not no matter how many times they are done.:-)

There is a list of doctors at www.npis.info who are aware of the benefits of natural progesterone they may be more helpful than your GP. You will have to educate your GP :-)

Natural progesterone means natural to humans i.e. identical to that produced by the human body.

Any progesterone you buy must be natural progesterone USP. USP means United States Pharmacopoeia. If you educate your GP or seek the assistance of a doctor from ww.npis.info it may be BP British Pharmacopoeia. Wild Yam is just that the body will not convert it to progesterone

Do not take fake progesterone/progestins manufactured by the drug companies they will be of NO benefit.

If a hormone is suggested by the saliva test please take the dose suggested for you. Size 10 shoes are not twice as good if you have size 5 feet.

You are probably bored and you working at a computer under a strip light in an air-conditioned office. Get out, and go for walk and try and stay away from caffeine.
