You can probably get a thousand words of description from most photographs, but if those words are worth anything is another matter all together. I know that I have got over ten thousand words worth out of pictures when I have been writing criticisms of them in the past.

By the way, copyright remains with the maker of the image in most jurisdictions, and under international law. If you are purloining other people's work and making money from it you are breaking the law. I have had the distinct pleasure of having a group of people who infringed copyright on some of my work sentenced and fined very heavily a few years back.

Good for you. And yes, I would agree that a picture is worth a thousand words. But the thing is, if you searched the internet for pictures and added them to a collection, how then are they "yours" again? You're attempting to profit from someone elses art, and I remain unimpressed. I hope you don't have any copyrighted images, you may find yourself in less than desirable circumstances. Get a real job, my friend.

I used to agree with that statement. However, with the digital craze and altering images some of the "magic" is lost. Although, I guess that could be said for one of the most famous pictures of all time... The sailor kissing the girl ( I can't remember the name of the photo/photographer...) It's been around forever those were actors.. So, I guess it just depends on the photo and how it moves you..

Yes, and often 10,000 words. I paint pictures. It is difficult to describe them briefly. It is also difficult to describe Chinese symbols I find. I answer questions about Chinese and Japanese languages, but my computer cannot show the characters, so I try to think how I'd describe the symbols in few words. That is quite difficult.
