I don't have a "religion" in the sense of a "right" or "wrong" way to perform rites and ceremonies. I do have faith in Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord, and a living, vital relationship with God through Him.I am not a "denominational Christian"--I would not consider attending a church that says "everyone else is wrong and we've got it right, sign here if you want to worship with us." I don't cling to one denomination's "statement of belief" or historical trends over another. I measure everything in the church I attend against the Bible; there's a lot of relatively unimportant stuff (how communion is given etc) that people fuss about, that I don't.
Yes, my faith does give me peace and security in the knoledge that whatever happens I will ultimately be all right, in this world and the next.
I do try to be tolerant of the beliefs of others unless and until they cause havoc to those around them. (If they want to believe in the Big Green Cabbage, or whatever, that's fine, but bombing shopping centres because others don't believe in it, or mistreating children in the name of their religion, etc. is out of line!)
As to your last question, if I were not convinced in my own mind (after years of experience with other belief systems btw) that my faith embodies the truth, I wouldn't bother holding it.

Does it give you peace? Most definitely! Jehovah is Love,He sent his son Jesus down to save ALL mankind. That is good news!
Does it help you to learn more about the Bible? Yes it does,Knowledge is power, you would not try and fly a helicopter without first learning how to right? Its complicated.
Does it allow you to be tolerant of others who have different beliefs? Jehovah wants all people to draw close to Him.Satan wants peeps to worship him.satan cant defeat the almighty, so he challenged Gods ability to rule over mankind, satan wants you to believe nothing,to just go about, and do any old way you see fit,and when you die he has won.
Do you feel that yours is the only right religion? No man made religion is gonna be absolute spot on. That's why we have the Holy Spirit to guide us.

I believe that Christ is the real deal. However I do not belong to any one, religious institution. I also believe people who live a Christ like life, no matter what religion are already saved.
Christ and my wanting to live His example has caused me much pain in my learning, but far more peace in my understandings. The reason I believe He is the way, is that for me, He has had all the temptations and gained all the understanding we would need from a human perspective, to make us understand how we are supposed to live.
Management by Example, is a simple way of putting it.

"yyes, i find peace in Jesus, and I pray you find Jesus."
Answers like this anger me: they seem to say, "My religion is better than yours."
My religion is none--I don't believe in any God or supreme overlord of the human race. I believe it is possible, but I don't have the blind faith that most people seem to.
Being an atheist does not give me peace in any way; but for me, at least, I know that joining a religion would not give me any peace either. I used to be Christian, but after seeing how everyone behaved towards non-Christians I decided it was not for me. I found most of the people that went to my church as liars, and I find the idea of raising a child up in a religion without giving them any choice in the matter absolutely proposterous.
My religion does actually help me learn about the Bible, in a way. I have read sections of the bible for intellectual arguments with other people, in order to prove points. I have not always suceeded with my arguments, but nor have I always failed.
Being an atheist does help me be tolerant of others beliefs. I am the kind of person that is OK with anything, so long as it does not intrude on anybody's rights. You have a weird fetish in bed? So be it, so long as you aren't hurting anybody.
Atheism is not a religion per se, so I can't answer this question very well. I do think that religion is silly, but I can see it's purpose in peoples' lives. It gives them hope, and some people need this.
Religion isn't for everyone, but it can be helpful for those that are confused about how they should live their lives.

Yes it gives me a sense of calm, as it may satisfy my unanswered questions. Yes it does help to learn more from the bible, in fact, without feeling calm i can't learn from the bible. and i am very tollerant with other peoples religion becuase my belief is is that people want the same thing, but they may get confused with the bible and so they may try to get to the same state of heart and mind through another religion because it helps them understand better what they are looking for. I don't belive in right or wrong religions per se, but if you say that there this religion that eats kids then i would be upset and angry. there are many issues in the world today. its difficult to distinguish black from white and right from wrong sometimes and i think we need to think about what our religion means about us as an idividual rather than sosciety as a whole, in the end, its the same spirit that rules goodness, that is patience, kindness, happiness, goodwill to the fellow being and love. if you recognise this spirit when you see it then you know it would be either budha jesus or allah, for they come from the great source, love

My religion is animism, the belief that all things have a soul and that all things are connected.
It does give me peace. I constantly see the magic of the world around me and appreciate what I have.
It doesn't help me learn more about the bible, as that's for Christians. However, I have read the Bible, along with the Qu'ran (Islam) and the Noble Eightfold Path (Buddhist).
Knowledge of other religions is what allows me to be more tolerant. Knowledge of my own faith allows me to know myself better.
There are many paths to what some call god. All are valid. It is the way your life is led that matters, not your personal beliefs. Mine is not the only right religion, but it is the only right religion for me.
May the spirits guide you, and may your god go with you.

I'm a Catholic because I'm Mexican but I attend a Lutheran church from time to time.
I find peace in that Jesus is my Saviour and my Lord.
I don't read the Bible because I just don't read books too much.
I am tolerant of others beliefs because I am an American at heart and will let them believe in their God(s).
I feel that my faith is the right "religion" because He said that "there shall be no other Gods before me". This is just what I have learned in my insignificant life in this world.

Yes. And it is deeply fulfilling.
Does it help you to learn more about the Bible?
No. I've never followed a religion whose sacred text is the bible.
Does it allow you to be tolerant of others who have different beliefs?
Yes.
Do you feel that yours is the only right religion? If so, why?
No. I respect that everyone has their own path to follow, or none at all.
You didn't ask, but I follow a neo-pagan path.

I'm an Atheist.
I'm always in peace – I sleep like a baby.
I find out more crap out about The Goat Herders' Guide to the Galaxy everyday.
I can't believe people still use it as a standard for morals - the whole thing is about the people or the gods doing and getting away with every crime imaginable.
I'm tolerant of others if they don't belong to death cults like Islam.
I'm intolerant of religions that tell the gullible that if you don't do such and such according to their particular brand of cult or sect you'll go to hell.
Wow! How intolerant is that.
I tolerate any religion that tolerates me.
I feel any religion that doesn't involve invisible friends is fine by me but once the scamming starts with invisible camera operators in the sky I get intolerant and want to shout: Grow the f*ck up.
