How exactly do they know which god he is?
I'd be mortified if I had a life changing event and saw a man with a beard and sandals, turned christian for 30 years and then when I died, Allah turns up and gives me a cuff round the ear for not paying attention.

As a Muslim, I am 100% confident I won't be seeing God or any of his prophets until I die unless Jesus turns up in earth!!!

Moses saw god's back, when he got the tablets and Jacob wrestled with god (I think after he called his beer a poof).

There never has been nor never will be a sighting or true demonstration that any such 'Deity' exists or has existed:
It would be 'Far, Far more beneficial for all of the worlds peoples to embrace becoming a "LATITUDINARIAN" and actually thinking for themselves instead of being 'Sheep'!

What "people" are you talking about who have "claimed to see God?"
I have not heard anyone say this, and if I did, their "experience" would be pretty simple to dismiss. They are probably mentally ill in some way.

Well, if they are monotheists, that is the ONE God they saw. The jealous God, creator God, Omnicient, Omnipresent, all powerful and everlasting... unknowable and all knowing.
