.....Combining hip toning exercises with a well rounded aerobic exercise and weight training program requires more energy and more strength. Your body responds to high intensity execises by adding lean muscle. This increases the rate at which the body burns calories and helps use up excess stored fat. You cna burn more calories by doing a variety of activities, and mixing up the exercises, intensity and duration every 2-3 weeks. All weight training exercises are not created equal. Exercises that involve large muscle groups such as squats and lunges for your legs, bench presses for your chest, overhead presses for your shoulders and lat pull-downs for your back build more muscle mass. A combination of cardiovascular exercise and weight lifting will make you stronger and leaner. This kind of effort takes time, but the results are permanent.......

find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

I'm going to assume you're a female based on the areas that you want to lose weight in. Well, I'm afraid to tell you, spot-reduction is not possible, you can not choose the areas that you want to lose fat.

Throughout our entire body is composed of bones, muscles, and fat. Women store the fat more prominently in certain areas than men. For example, women store most of their fat in their breasts and in their pelvic region (including the butt, hips, and thighs). This widening behavior of your body is due to hormonal changes, so that it eases the birth-giving process.

Men tend to store their fat in the abdominal region (beer gut anyone?).

Neither sexes can pick a spot (like the abs) and say "I'm going to do 1000 crunches and that should give me a flat tummy!" It doesn't work that way. You have to lose OVERALL BODY FAT, meaning that your entire body's fat level goes down, not just in specific areas. It's unfortunate, but, this is how we are, we lose weight everywhere!

when u exercise u lose weight from ur entire body not from specific parts. However u can tone the muscles in different areas by doing targeted exercises.

I suggest sit ups / crunches for ur abs
squats for thighs & seated leg lifts for ur hips.
