The Bible doesn't actually give us an amount of years. Many false "Christians" say that the earlier days were actually millions of years. I'm talking about Genesis and the 7 days of Creation. They miss that the Bible says a day as a evening and a morning. Unless you think that the Sun rotated around the Earth once every million years, then you are wrong.

Genesis 1
3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

False "Christians" try to say, "Oh! For God a day is just a million years or so!" Those idiots are just pulling this out of their asses. They are trying to edit the Word of God. Why didn't they say this a hundred years ago or earlier when the Religion of Evolution had not been known of? Think about it, where all those Christians before hand wrong? No, it's just these false "Christians" are trying to appease modern ideas so that they can try to make someone feel "smart" and have them go to Hell. This was a brilliant idea that Satan and his legions started.

So anyway, how do I know how many years it was since the first day of Creation? I take the current population and divided it through the how many parents they all had and look at the lineages backwards and I come to roughly about 9,000-10,000 years ago. Try it on a calculator if you don't believe me.

Hi, I am a student/teacher of the manuscripts: ya know, I was contacted by a senior advisor for that new Creation Museum, because I posted the actual truth the Scriptures give about this issue, and the truth is this:
The Bible never says the Earth is 6000 years old; in fact, it says quite the opposite:
that this Earth is eons in age, and that there was even an entire earth age before this one.
The reason God makes clear in Genesis that "the evening and the morning were the first day, etc..." is so that there is no controversy over that he meant a 24-hour period of time. However, because the first line in Genesis is: "In the beginning, God created the Heaven and the Earth", people just assume that what follows is a description of that first creation: its not, and actually its far from it; what you are reading is God rejuvinating the earth to ready it for this flesh Age. There are three earth ages as explained by 2peter Chapter 3 of your regular Bible. The last Earth age was when Satan rebelled; there was a great war. A third of our people (yes, we were all there, already souls created) followed Satan, and then a large group of our people stayed neutral - they really didn't care as long as it didn't affect them. Then there was another group who stayed loyal on Gods side, and Satan was defeated.
At that point, God could have destroyed all those who followed Satan, but frankly God wasn't all too happy with those who stayed neutral, either. So God decreed that he would destroy that AGE that was, NOT the Earth, NOT the terrafirma, but only the previous AGE was destroyed; it left the earth void and without form, as everything was completely done in.
The Earth sat still for an untold great amount of time, and then God decided (with all of us in agreement) to bring in a second Earth age - where each soul would come thru one time, born of woman, to make an ultimate decision of who they would follow.
To make the plan work, two things had to hold true: first, each soul would have complete freedom of will with the promise of God not to interfere in the individual life, and second, theres not much use in giving someone a choice between good and good, so we needed a comparitor: this is why although Satan was judged and found guilty and condemned to death, he has not been destroyed yet: God is using him as comparitor; after all, the conflict in the first place is between Christ and Satan so in fairness, Satan is given a fair opportunity in the plan, to deceive whomever he will.

Anyway, thats why we are here in the flesh, and this earth along with all of us, are billions of years in age. There is no controversy between the truth of Gods Word and true Science. The dinosaurs were destroyed as one of the necessary
rejuvinations of the earth so that flesh could live here in this Age.
A couple of things to know:
In Genesis, where it says go and REplenish the earth, that was written because the Earth had already been plenished once before. And where you read that the Earth "WAS VOID AND WITHOUT FORM"; the manuscripts actually say the earth "BECAME VOID AND WITHOUT FORM" - how did it "become" that way?
Gods destruction of the Age after the War.

This is the plan from here on:
When Christ returns, there will be a 1000 year period of teaching and strict disipline to those who find themselves now in a spiritual body, but with a soul that is still mortal (liable to die).
After that teaching period, Satan will be loosed for a brief time to deceive those stragglers who haven't learned, and then
comes the Judgement. Nobody goes to hell or anywhere else until "court". At that time those who don't make it will follow Satan and his cronies into the lake of fire which is an all-consuming fire that kills both the spiritual body and the soul. It turns them to ashes from within. Then the lake of fire is done away with as well.
At that point, the AGE will change again:
We will go into the 3rd Earth age, and that one will be forever. The change of Age will completely refresh and clean the earth so that it will once again be rejuvinated.
"A small family will become the entire Nation called "Israel". Thats the deal in a nutshell.

Friend it looks like you like to downgrad So called Christians, & according to you I am one of them, Listern closly, You your selve DO NOT even know what you are talking about. You try to say christians makes one day a million years, here is one Christian that don't use that figure, nor do I use your figure, I take the bible figure, which is one day with the Lord is that of 1000 yrs. Now you want to talk about creation. This planet is millions If not Billions yrs. Old, Gen. 1: 1 says in the Beginning, beginning of what Time. This earth was without form & void, now you like to use God's 6 creative days as a literal 24 hrs., Friend sorry I will bust your bubble, Each creative day was 1000 yrs, Not 24 hours nor 1 million yrs. but 1000 yrs. Now when you come to the 7th day, you see God resting, let me ask you something, why would God need rest, He does not get tired out or sleepy, but God was setting in a type & shadow of things to come. God rested the 7th creative day which is 1000 yrs., NO he was not worn out, But that 7th day type out the milliennium which will be also one day or 1000 yrs. & before God set in the motion for the milliennium, we have to look at church histoy, Satan himself had a milliennium himself, which lasted 1000 yrs. From around 500 to 1500 AD, which is what we called the dark ages, Now to throw in a verse or 2, which I have many to use, but I will use these 2, Gen.9:1 God told Noah to replinish the earth, In Gen.1:28 God told Adam to replinish the earth which replinish means to fill it UP AGAIN. That let's me know that there was some form of life here in the prehitoric time frame, Now does that sound strange for a Christian, I can also show you where God had took angels that sinned in that time frame & chained them into outer darkness waiting for the great white throne judgement that will take place at the end of the Milliennium, Now did you also know the Saints shall judge the world & even angels, are you surprised, I am not, Read 1st Cor. 6:2 Do you not know that the saints shall judge the world, 3: Know ye not that we shall judge angels, Now do you need futher explainantion from this so call christian you said I am.

Take the year we are in now, add the total of time back to Christ, add the 400 silent years between the testaments, then add backwards like that...in many cases the years mentioned are there for a reason.
Or just add from Adam up to the present.
Somewhere around 6000 years is all.
By the way, for someone that seems to know so much about the Bible, why do you come across speaking like a non-believer?

It also says in the Bible that a day to God is 1000 years.

I think arguing over creation is silly. Obviously the world is older then just several thousand years. The Genesis story an account of our creation and fall from grace. It helps us understand just what happened to us and why we are in the mess we are. Why we need a savior and how sin has caused a steady decline.

The Bible is not a science book, nor what is ever intended to be. It is the Word of God, set down for us to be able to follow him and find salvation.

You took the current population, divided it by the amount of their parents and you conclude the earth is 9 or 10 thousand years old? Thanks for a hearty laugh. I wonder how you did it. Can you also calculate the world's end on that nifty machine you must have got like manna from heaven there?

I tried it myself, but there's a few variables that make it difficult. It's a bad start to suppose the world began when Adam and Eve appeared from nowhere, a wonky follow through to consider the population of the world gradually increased from 2 people to 6.5 billion people.. But have you measured how many children on average a couple have had over the past 10.000 years?

Oh and V for Vendetta is a very good film, but if you regularly quote from it and use its characters as a mask to hide behind, at least have the courtesy to mind your spelling.

The oldest writing I know about is from the babylon area about the time Moses was in Egypt. According to the biblical story the flood predates that so there wouldn't be a break in it. Plus almost every culture and civilization has an account of a great flood in it's past.

the earth is about 4.6 billion years old. With the radioactive dating technigues we use today with can get the date fairly close the universers is about 16 billion years old and is expanding. We have tree in Arizona that are at least 10,000 years old so your 10,000 years is wrong no matter how you come up with the numbers. You need to use reason and not be blinded by myths if you want to find the true age of the earth.

Wreather 2000 is right. The earth IS very old. Old enough to have seen the dinosaurs come and go. And for the mountainms to erode and continents to shift.
But that does not deny God.
Genesis is written in terms we find hard to understand. But where it says 'days' of creation, we must understand that God's time is not limited at all.
In reality, it is MAN who has a short history ON the earth.

You did not do any such thing! If you took the present population and divided it through how many parents..... First, that is backwards, the number would get higher,as each person has 2 parents,4 g-parents8 g-g parents and so on. You also don't have how many in a family. The death rates, taken into account massive population reductions like the ""black death" in Europe. I don't need a calculator to "calculate" your claim is false
