I got on the bus today and the driver was cleaning his teeth! 10 minutes later when I got off the bus he still had the toothbrush dangling from his mouth.

I think this is pretty strange behavior but if you've had any experiences that you think rival mine I'd love to hear about it! :)

I don't know if it's considered strange, but it was definitely scary. I was on the train one day, several months ago, when a very odd, crazy looking man sat next to me. (WHY do the weird ones always sit next to me? Seriously, you'd think I have "freak magnet" stamped on my forehead.) Anyway, he had some type of wooden beads (looked like a rosary without the crucifix on it) and was praying in a foreign language. He was wearing a trench coat (a very dirty one) and turns to me out of the blue and says, "I have a knife." and opens his coat slightly. He really DID have a knife. I don't know what it was, but it looked like a small machete. I sort of smiled and said, "oh, I see." and PROMPTLY got off at the next stop and switched train cars.

Then there are the occasional "preachers" who get on with their bibles and preach the good word. One of them was insane. He kept ranting and raving (the man was actually screaming at the top of his voice) about how God is a vengeful God and he kills people, and he (the crazy guy) would kill people too.

Then there was the time (about a month ago) where the group of people (they're like the Black Panthers--the new world power, or something like that) were coming from a rally here in Atlanta and were on the train talking about death and destruction to the white race. It was an off hour so the train wasn't too crowded, and I was the only white person on the train. Again, I switched trains at the next stop. Didn't get on a car though--I waited for the next train.

Clearly you guys are not from Los Angeles - try taking a bus here sometime and then you will see some stuff. For instance - there is usually an insane person on just about every other bus. One time it was raining and this guy kept screaming "the water has come out of the ocean and is drowning the city!" and then a big rig went buy and he screamed "look, it's an elephant!" Also, one time I was on the bus and the lady's hair in front of me was full of lice and she kept shaking her head cause they were biting her and scratching her head - I had to move a few seats away.

The loudest belching and f*arting you ever heard coming from the subsequent stall. From the racket, anybody interior the bathing room knew it had to be some 4 hundred lb. guy with intestinal worry. whilst the door opens, out walks this 7 twelve months previous scrawny newborn with a huge smile on his face. the full place in basic terms cracked up.

I was on a train making my way home from Boston, when the guy across the aisle took out a McDonald's burger from a bag, took it out of the wrapper and then proceeded to eat the burger, and put it on the floor of the train - without a wrapper!!!!! He actually put the burger on the disgusting dirty floor of the train and kept eating it!!! I will never forget that.

I freaked out a schizophrenic woman by staring at the basket she kept messing with. We were sitting in those seats that face each other and it's either stare in front of you or turn sideways and look at something else. Well the woman kept fiddling with this odd looking homemade basket she had decorated so I tried looking at it to see how it was decorated and all. If someone keeps messing with something and they act nervous...it makes you wonder.... Anyway. She kept getting more agitated and couldn't make eye contact with me. Her eyes roamed all over the place and would never settle on my eyes. It was the weirdest thing I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot of weird things. :)
