It's the way men set it up to control the populace.

We are not the way God made us. Man chose sin instead of listening to God. When God first made everything Man was without sin, animals were not meat eaters and their was peace on earth. Because of Adam and Eve's sin man was cursed.

We are not saved from God, we are given a chance to fellowship with God again, but our sin has to be covered. The only thing that can cover our sin is a sacrifice and this is where Jesus came in. Only the Son of God could be that sacrifice.

If you were the way God made you, you would not know about sin and the death of Jesus would not have been necessary.

One day God will set things right and God will put things back the way they were, then man will see lion and lamb both eating side by side and earth will have peace.

You are right about one thing religion is confusing but God and his love are simple, don't let men and their understanding or knowledge get in the way of your relationship with God.

Keep it simple, believe in Jesus Christ as your savior (not from God but from yourself) and receive the gift of salvation and eternal life in fellowship with God.

Now you get to receive one of Gods most precious gifts to man (free will), you get to decide if you will receive the gift or not.

God bless.

Try to avoid making false statements and then saying it makes no sense. Of course it makes no sense, since your question is not valid. We are not the way God made us or intended us to be. All of those who answered with those sarcastic little quips must ride the same little bus that you do.

It is a bit confusing, isn't it?

You know, I have been meaning to warn you; being a Guinea Pig you need to avoid Ecuador. I ate a Guinea Pig there, while sitting on the ecuator! Guess what it tastes like? CHICKEN! I know that has nothing to do with the question, so I may get reported. I just thought it was interesting. ;-)

Its just refinement process. Like if you could strengthen the cells in your body or the atoms in those cells, wouldn't you do it? To preserve you and sustain you well beyond your lifetime? So what the heck does that explain!? Well, a boxer has to be in a fight to know how good he is. He can train day and night, but until the fight HE doesn't know. The trainer who has seen A hundred boxers come and go knows, his manager might know, but it's the FIGHTER that has to know what he is capable of. So believing in yourself is believing in G-D. That is the life force, the first cause, that urge to help a stranger, or just sit in the park. But there is tons of stuff that is against you and the worst is yourself, your EGO. Your belief (or anyone's) that they somehow can just know through proof. Its just a matter of faith and faith can only be understood by someone with the capacity to love and to be loved, because how can you prove love? Its a matter of faith....in yourself.

You said if God wrote the book then he is responsible for all that's bad in the world. God agrees with you that's why He sacrificed himself and took the abuse from his own creation. Yes, He took responsibility for his and every ones actions. But now the ball is in your court it's Adam and Eve all over again. Will you eat from the tree of Life by choosing Christ or will you eat from the tree of your own wisdom(which represents the tree of the knowledge of good and evil) which is death?

So we can party until we almost kill ourselves, then at the last minute change our ways and live a good fruit yielding life. Now can you ask for a better deal than that?

twas grace that taught my heart to fear, and grace my fears relieved...

It would seem that God makes the rules, I guess that's why we call him God.
