different from the food cooked in frying-pans with oil? If different, is it better or what emotions do you have about it?

I personally have not eaten foods cooked in that "brand" of appliance. I say "brand" because steam cooking is not new, applying heat to a product cooks it no matter in what fashion that heat is applied whether moist or dry. As for the taste (flavor) of food, Mother Nature has control over that and "we" are the ones that add to enhance the natural flavors of our cooked products to suit our tastes. The methods that we cook our foods falls into that same category because of the addition of outside elements right down to the purity of water that is used for steaming.
