I think that depends on the individual. I was a gym goer and a home exerciser and I managed to meet my goal while at home than on the gym.

Personally, I think the gym goer is more interested in 'looking' fit then actually being fit. Notice how most of them park as close to the stores as possible? I think the person with the most motivation, regardless of where they work out, the one with the best education on healthy eating and exercise....that person will be more apt to meeting their desired goal.

I'd say the "gym goer" because they arent distracted by the everyday things around them such as television, games, kids, etc.

The one who goes to gym. Regular hours and more motivation seeing others also work out helps.
