I would suggest doing this in a salon. It will be a job of matching the two colors and toning you to the color that you want to be. If money is a concern you could look for a local beauty school. The girls are fully trained before taking clients and it cuts the price more than in half sometimes. When going to a beauty school ask for a "Senior" or more experienced student. Also if you are looking to be considerably darker than either color on your head I would make sure that they "fill" your hair. This will keep your hair from turning ashy and will give you a richer color in the end. Good luck to you in your hair troubles. Hope I have been of some assistance.

Because you have soooo much root regrowth, you should see a stylist!! You need to use two different colors to achieve what your looking for. An Ash or Natural at the roots, and the golden on the ends. If you put gold at your roots, you will get Orange! If you put ash on your ends, you will get Grey! Go to the Salon, that way you will avoid the "do it yourself" look.
P.S. Don't they have hair color help lines on the boxes of color anymore? At least you would be talking to a color specialist that knows what they are talking about!

it can work but only if a professional hair colorist does it because the porosity of you hair is different in the bleached area and in the virgin area... Get a consultation to see how the colorist is and you can determine if you will see him/her or you move on to a different colorist..DONT do it yourself at home... it will not come out evenly... Just go to a salon and tell them what you want and they will perform the service to the T for you... Good luck :-)

I think it will work. Sorry, don't know any good products, but try Loreal or Clairol.

All you need is some chlorine bleach and shoe polish. In your case brown shoe polish. Mix it together and WTF SHAZZam poof! hair dye!
